Very much enjoyed my two night stay here. The room was nicely done and was very spacious and had a small seating area next to the window. Eighth floor so nice view as well. Shower was strong, only note I'd have was the hair dryer was very old fashioned and it took ages to dry my long hair! Breakfast was good in the morning and had plenty of choice to cater for everyone. The cafe which I tried on my last day also had a good range of choices. Good location to the old town and other sites in the area. If your coming by train be aware that location wise it is quite a long walk from the station. Overall it was a great stay, would very much recommend.
We have been staying in this place for several years and we love it more an more. The beds are very comfortable, the reception and service very friendly, the breakfast fresh and tasty. We have stayed at IHG hotels around the world, and, frankly, this is one of the best for the money. Congratulations to the management, thanks to the staff!
Great place. The best hotel in Plovdiv. Everything is perfect- from the friendly and helpful staff to design, cleanliness, comfort, breakfast, lighting in the rooms, everything. It’s also placed in great location if you’re looking for a more quiet place.
During my recent business trip to Bulgaria with my Italian partners, we discovered a great new hotel. The quality of the rooms was fantastic, with amenities such as a coffee machine, complimentary water bottles, flip-flops, and shoe-cleaning sponges. The parking was well-organized and innovative, with electronic recognition of license plates. You are asked by email the day before your arrival to send your plate information to the reception before arrival, and your car will be automatically recognized at the entry zone. The hotel also boasts fantastic restaurants and the breakfast buffet was one of the nicest I have experienced in Bulgaria. Overall, this hotel is one of the best new options for business travel in the country. The same ownership as the nearby Jagerhof craft brewery and restaurant is also great. Keep in mind the restaurant is super popular in Plovdiv and often full. They make some of the best beer in Bulgaria; Germany built the beer production facility everything with Bavarian equipment and technology. As the city of Plovdiv has been booming in recent years, hotels like this are so much-needed
We had a wonderful four days at Villa Flavia. The hotel is only two years old and everything is new and very clean. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We had a room safe, a coffee machine, a lovely bathroom, free use of the contents of a fridge which is replenished every day and a TV with a few channels in English. There is an open terrace on the top floor with views of the town. The hotel also offers a short tour of the Roman baths in the basement. The staff and efficient and very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast which has a large choice of cold and hot food. You can have your breakfast inside our on the patio. The air conditioning in the rooms is efficient. The hotel is well placed in the city centre with Roman remains, bars, restaurants and shops within a short walk. I can thoroughly recommend Villa Flavia in Plovdiv.
Perfect weekend escape for family gathering, close to a park with kids entertainment, restaurants with kids corner and delicious menu, not far from the old town. Superb breakfast -hot and cold buffet, variety of chocolates, juices, espresso, pancakes, traditional Bulgarian pastries. Garden with fountain suitable for weddings and anniversaries-we were lucky to see fireworks twice during our stay :) My child was so exited!
It’s hard to imagine how a pocket boutique anywhere could be better. We loved it! Six stars! Location: Near the crest of the historic Old Town, a stone’s throw from the Roman theater, you pass under a spindly boom pole setting the tone that you are entering a special gated community. (Just tell the watch person you are a hotel guest.) Décor: It really is an art gallery. Original paintings by contemporary Bulgarian artists are installed throughout. The little breakfast/refreshment keller has catalogues and books about them. The rooms are few enough that you have the sense of staying in a private home. And the wonderful blending of historic, quirky and contemporary touches results in a delightful envelope of character. Barely open two years, it has the assured demeanor of a comfortable longtime resident. Rooms: We stayed in a Deluxe Room on the top floor. What fun to lie in bed gazing at the stars through matching skylights with electronic controls for the shade and shutter on each side. Good storage, outlets, and sitting space. Bathrobes, luxurious Etro amenities, sleek fittings in the bathroom. A small balcony gave us a view over the city. We took a full, leisurely room service breakfast. Service: The door opened to a warm welcome, a full rundown of the routine, and a chance to pre-order breakfast. Checkout was equally friendly and efficient. There is no elevator, but the evening manager carried our bag up when he showed us the room. Surroundings: Although not immediately obvious, street parking is easy; the historic mansions from various periods are an architectural delight. But be aware, the cobblestone streets are serious; it’s no place for heels! Finally, a note to snobs: Until we checked out, I had no idea I had just stayed at a Best Western. If The BW Premier Collection is an example of their latest foray, I’ll be looking for more stays with them. Bravo!
Pphone09d76dc83f22018What a wonderful hotel, I could not have been happier with my accommodation selection in Plovdiv. Staff were absolutely fabulous, so friendly & helpful, & with just 11 rooms, it’s a personal, boutique experience generally. The location is hard to beat, in the very heart of the old town & just minutes walk from the Ancient Theatre. There are dozens of restaurants within walking distance too. The hotel doesn’t have one, but serves breakfast either in-room, in a sweet basement dining room, or on one of a handful of small outdoor tables. You pre-order the night before from an enticing menu of tasty, creative dishes. I was delighted with my room which was stylish, cheery & light, it was a pleasure to spend time in. Rooms have a mini bar & tea/coffee making, as well as s good range of bathroom products & excellent WiFi. Hotel decor throughout is chic & in great order, fairly new by the looks, & as the name suggests, various attractive artworks adorn the walls. A great choice.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe were two couples in double rooms. Very happy with our stay at Boris Palace. All the staff pleasant and helpful. Lady at check in showed us both rooms so we could choose which we preferred. Both rooms spotless. Both had balconies and good views. Very impressed with the cleanliness everywhere. Absolutely spotless. Very nice breakfast of hams, cheeses, lovely fresh bread and pastries. Couldn't fault the hotel and would be my first choice when back in Plovdiv as the location was perfect. In the old town but very close walking distance to everywhere.
I was in Plovdiv on business. I chose the hotel because its location suited me very well. Not only were my expectations met, but it turned out to be even nicer. The breakfast was delicious, there was a great choice. Both the rooms and the lobby are very creative and modern, they used an interesting solution regarding the bathrooms - enclosed with glass, I would visit with my partner. There is a large and convenient car park as well as a 24/7 lobby bar. In the summer there is a swimming pool. I would certainly return when I am in town again!
