Hotel Villa Elisa & Spa

Can I simply add to the overwhelmingly positive reviews that this hotel receives? It has lovely outdoor spaces and gardens, a very good and clean pool area and lovey staff. The breakfast choices are excellent as well. Would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful hotel on a gem of a town. Old world charm in a perfect setting. Breakfast was wonderful. Fresh pastries, bread and fruit. Lovely pool with food and drinks available. Only thing is the rooms are a bit dated, but all in keeping with the local architecture and area. Don’t go to Nice or Monaco. Go to Bordighera instead and you won’t regret it! Do take the ‘monet walk’ from the old town as it is stunning.

My three day visit was my third visit there. As always "delightful" is the only word to use. The rooms are lovely and my Labrador loved the terrace. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Ask and it is done. I was working on a business matter with an old friend and we said jokingly that we should sell our places and move in permanently. I think we were joking... A pleasant 20 minute walk takes you to the old town and lovely restaurants. I cannot recommend it too highly.

A hidden little gem! Bordighera may not be on everyone's list of places to see but if you find yourself needing a rest spot near the border I highly recommend a night here. The hotel is not on the beach but for that you get the extra value of the pool and spa. All guests are treated to one hour free at the spa. The hotel is not "updated" as far as decor is concerned but very clean. We had a large double bed, which was two 90cm put together. The mattresses were very comfortable. We paid the 15 euros for breakfast and found it was more than ample, you could also order omelettes and pancakes off the menu. Easy walk to the old town. There was no noise from the street but be careful there was construction next door when we came.Receptionist was very knowledgeable and was able to answer our question about touring the Garnier house. There is also a Bucknell museum and markets in town.

Very friendly family-run hotel with the most beautiful citrus garden and outdoor pool. Fresh and nice basement spa. Room with balcony and amazing view of the sun setting over the mountains. Excellent service.

We came here for a spa afternoon and had the most lovely time. The staff were all so lovely, efficient and happy. Incredible customer service. The Spa was stunning, super clean and had one of the best massages I have ever had with Lara. I can't reccomend this place enough. Thank you so much for a wonderful day!
