A lovely old house in the La Candelaria district of Bogota. We had a room at the back overlooking a courtyard and despite the hotel being in a very busy location there was no noise at night. The location is excellent for restaurants and sights. The breakfast of fruit and eggs was good. When we arrived my husband had chipped a tooth and the receptionist phoned a local dentist and arranged for him to be seen. All in all an excellent place to stay in Bogota.

It's a comfortable hotel near the La Candelaria area, it has great beds and excellent staff members who are very helpful. It's a basic hotel, so don't expect a 5 star service. My only problem was the floor which made a lot of noise due to the old parket/wood floor. Extra tip: if you are too sensitive to street noise, inform the front desk and they will offer you a bedroom not facing the street. As for me noise is not s problem I had wonderful Montserrat view during Christmas and a nice balcony facing streets.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The staff is sooo friendly and the hotel really beautiful! And so is the neighborhood. There are a lot little, nice streets around. Thanks a lot, we hat a really nice stay!

I loved my multiple stays at this hotel during my visit to Colombia. It’s a beautiful building in a perfect location in La Candelaria. The rooms are great and include a safe. A good breakfast is served every morning. Particular thanks to Alfredo and Gabriel for all their service and for always wanting to help – they are such a friendly team. Gran servicio! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bogota.

We chose this hotel for its excellent location in La Candelaria. A small, modest but charming facility with wonderful service. We highly recommend it! The rooms have few amenities, but the price is great, so you can't complain.

It is an authentic building with lot of charm but it is quite difficult to sleep at night if you are located on the 1 st floor. You can hear everything happening in the room upstairs.

Only stayed 1 night, but was most satisfied. Charming old structure, great staff, great breakfast. My room faced the arterial street,which can be very noisy with motorcycles. But the noise is essentially eliminated by additional glass French doors; smart move by the hotel. I'd return in a heartbeat.

Ideally located in the historic district of Bogota (la Candelaria) in a colonial style building. All the major historic spots (museums, plazas, etc) are within walking distance. The room was very spacious with a simple furniture. Even if the room overlooks the street, it is well soundproofed. Little inconvenient, the shower is little slippery. The breakfast is very simple (hot drinks, toasts, eggs, juice and fruits) but it is ok. Very friendly staff. Overall very pleasant experience.

It's looks pretty normal from the outside, nothing grand but in side was surprisingly charming. The colours we nice and gave a very comforting feel. The rooms we ok, not fantastic and it could do with some update. Bathrooms were on the smaller side also. But the staffed up for it and it's in a quieter area in the candeleria. We felt ot was a better experience in the old city rather than staying the the 5 star hotels chapinero. Didn't regret that decision although we did travel up a few times for meals
