Overall, the hotel was good. The neighborhood of the hotel was a bit suspicious, but I found the yard area quite safe. Breakfast was ok!

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here for a swim meet. I would do it every time we come to Birmingham. You can't beat the convenience to the Crossplex. The only negative is the breakfast is limited. There are warm options - waffles, eggs, sausage. But that was it. It probably had to do with the hotel being full from a track and field meet and a swim meet. There was always food just a lack of options. Overall very satisfied with my stay.

The staff was friendly. They greeted you every time they saw you. The breakfast was on time. If you waited 5 or 10 beforehand, you were lost. I do like even though the attendant gave guests a small scolding, she did her the muffin. I dare not asked. It was understandable because of the ration the hotel have to do. And the weekend, a holiday weekend was here.

Community was a little sketchy. Mattress was kind of hard. Other than that, everything was great. Staff was super friendly.

My sheets were dirty and had this mucus like thick stains on the sheets both at the bottom and top. We stayed two days and the trash wasn’t emptied at all but the kind lady at front desk gave me sheets and a large trash bag.

Usualy this location is great but multiple issues this time. Key for room didnt work but was corrected promptly. Power outage, front alarm going off. Seemed to have some power issues.
