Our plan was to stay a whole week and we booked a non-refundable price of 270€/day for a “Suite” of 31sqm with an extra room for a guest. Here are the reasons why we left after the first disastrous night: 1. Check-in: During check-in of 15mins, we faced 2x electricity fall outs. We had given all info beforehand to reduce check-in time and were asked again to provide all details and IDs. After 15mins waiting “Giovanni” had to check the room first (arrival 19:30). 2. Car parking: We had to hand over the car key in order to avoid chaos in the garage, we were told. ALL car keys were “stored” in a transparent box without surveillance on the reception desk. Even when no one was standing and watching the desk. Note: the wide open entrance can be accessed literally from the street - anyone can come in at any time!! 3. “Suite”: room was smaller than 31sqm and had no extra room, but a corner with a sofa with bed function. The Hotel was renovated and is still under construction but the room is brand new. Nothing is screwed on (not the cabinet and also not the safe), mounting materials laying around, nothing to hang towels, no waste bin, TV channels not working, ... in general the materials used are very poor quality (looks cool from far away though) 4. Staff and “the director”: completely understaffed, a handfull of people are handling the whole thing at the ground floor and on the 6th floor (where the bar is). When we got back from dinner (at 23:00) Giovanni asked me how i want to pay and he needs my ID right away - he send the receptionist to follow me to the room for it. I asked for it to be returned 3 times and did not receive it. I took my car keys, which were accessible to anyone at the reception but did not find my ID, nor anyone to talk to. So i went to the 6th floor for drinks. Wanted to pay 8€ with a 10€ note and was told to wait till next day for the change because they have no cashier... asked again for my ID. The answer: “don’t worry sir, it is safe with us” 5. Building and 5th floor: still under contruction and one can see it almost everywhere!! Elevators are blocked or stuck (during my stay of about 12hrs elevators stuck for 3 times). The 5th floow is not finished at all and there is a lot of stuff laying around accessible to anyone - even for kids !! 6. The End: was called at 08:00 to bring the car keys. I asked again to get my ID back in return but Giovanni only wanted the keys quickly because my car blocked another one. I exploded and checked out immediately. Had to fight for my right with the director Giovanni, to check out earlier and only pay 1 night. I felt like i have to “make it up to him” somehow because he is losing business and i should clarify this with ***********. We went so far that i asked him to call the police - which he did not. He blamed everything on *********** then gave me my ID and remained ignorant, not understanding and made me feel bad. Conclusion: i am so happy to have left that building and recommend eve
