Barcelo Benidorm Beach - Adults Recommended

Stayed here in May 2024 hotel was lovely. The room was very clean and modern our room faced a wall. However didn't pay for a sea view so won't complain.Staff very polite and friendly terrace area lovely and views the looking over the bay were excellent.Breakfast excellent. Would I return Definitely.looked for September 2024 sold out when I would like to return

Absolutely an amazing hotel. Could not fault one thing. Staff were amazing across the board. Food exceptional, ideal location. I would recommend this hotel 100%. Benidorm is an absolute gem, considering the bad press that it gets. There's something for everyone. Will definitely return.

I booked this property due to its location near the old town and at the quieter end of Levante Beach. It has recently opened and was a refurb of an old building. Firstly there are some minor negatives; these are the lifts which have a mind of their own and can be very laboured at busy times, the shower doors that seem to leak into the bathroom easily and a lack of fresh water in the room. The former are more difficult to fix, but it would be so much nicer to have a bottle of water in the fridge upon arrival; even a mini-bar. Aside from that, I would have given 4 rating due to the above, but the cleanliness, ambience and quality of staff warrant a 5. The team at reception and throughout the hotel were helpful and professional and the bar staff both downstairs and at the pool bar were excellent; friendly, engaging, happy to talk and provided brilliant service (I can't recall all the names, but remember Callum, Roger, Edu and I think Carlos; apologies to any I forgot). The music could be a little better and more up to date, but that is down to individual taste I guess. The rooms were clean and had a great view (front sea view rooms), the beds and pillows were comfy and there was no noise to speak of. Breakfast had a good choice and wasn't too busy. The Rooftop Bar and Pool was great, a perfect location to relax and enjoy some drinks; I also though good value (4.50 for a large Cruzcampo was good for the upmarket surroundings I thought). Overall a very nice stay and a hotel I would use again if in the area.

This is a lovely hotel in an amazing position. Ideally located for the old and new town and a stones throw from the beach… Positives Location Attentive staff Hotel design / colour scheme Roof bar and roof bar views Negatives Hit and Miss food wise, some food was luke warm and there was limited choice. The chefs were lovely people and when bought to their attention were very attentive. The hotel although fairly new will soon be tired. There are little areas where some light maintenance would have helped. The impression is they rushed to open, eg spacer still between the floor tiles on the roof terrace, the roof terrace tiles feeling loose in areas, carpet outside the lifts wearing (should they be hotel grade?) little minor scuffs in the paintwork…. This hotel needs tender loving care to retain its charm, it may even need to go a little more upmarket to retain an aura of 4 star exclusivity… Room service gain hit and miss, e.g teabags replaced but not the milk, small things but need sorting. The lifts are also temperamental… Overall though? Enjoyed the hotel and enjoyed the break.

Good 4 star hotel Over all hotel is very clean and well maintained. My only downfalls would be your cleaners. They are very pleasant however they left the room with dirty bed sheets which was clearly visible. And left the same sheets on for 7 days. This wouldn’t normally bother me however it was clear. Taking dirty glasses etc out of the room they didn’t do either, sorry these are basic services for a serviced holiday. On some occasions not leaving enough toilet roll in the room. Bar in the lobby never had anyone at it the whole time I was there 🫤 Apart from that view from the hotel is fantastic, I had a side sea view and the view was amazing, hotel is very up to date and a great stay Beds are very comfortable Breakfast had a fantastic selection and was always fresh every morning which was great. Right on the beach. Very accessible to the whole of Benidorm. Overall thanks for a great stay. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I cannot recommend the Barcelo Beach hotel enough. Location is fantastic, the Hotel is exceptionally clean. We booked bed and breakfast, the breakfast had such good choices and the food was fresh, hot and plentyful. All staff all from the receptionist to bar staff and restaurant staff were all so friendly and helpful. A hugh shout out to Callum and Sophie in the breakfast restaurant they were so efficient and helpful and cheerful they are definitely an assett to the hotel. We'll done Barcelo we will definitely be back.

Great staff and great beachside location. Would recommend- just be aware it has a school or something nearby so there is some noise from that

We went here on a stag do and it was amazing if you’re looking to escape the noise of people drinking and the *****. You literally feel like you’re in another world on the rooftop bar. It’s beautiful and would 100% return. All staff are amazing and helpful. So clean and the beds are soooooo comfortable.
