Was coming to town for baseball games at PNC park. Hotel is about a 15 minute walk to fields. Arrived at noon and the check in was smooth. You need your room key card to go up In elevator. Stayed on 17th floor with city view, could see a little of the Clemente bridge and PNC park. The hallway had a musty smell, room was clean, just a few cosmetic things. Didn’t feel like the AC was working very well. The maid service respects the door hanger and won’t bother you. I didn’t drive or park but valet prices were a little steep.if was to come back for another sporting event, I would stay there again.
Send your child to the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, and choose this hotel. After more than half a month of experience, I feel very good, and at the same time, I also feel the friendliness and kindness of the American people to the Chinese people. Johnstown is not so convenient to get around by car. The hotel service staff kindly arranged for their colleagues' cars and said there was no charge. How can this be OK? I will still express my heart and arrange the vehicle. I am very grateful to my guests in this foreign country. Next time I come, I will still choose to stay in the hotel again.
The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The continental breakfast was decent, but not great. The location is fantastic if you're in town for a ballgame. However, my room was at the very north end of the hotel near the highway and the road noises at night was pretty bad/loud due to the elevated roadway.
The reason for my terrible rating on cleanliness is that when I turned down my sheets, I had black flecks of something all in my sheets, as well as a long dark hair under the top sheet I could see. Additionally, I had some sort of dead bug on my side table. It looked like potentially a bed bug, so I didn't get much sleep the only night I was there.
I'd recommend this hotel to stay at with a few caveats of asking for a room on the south end of the hotel as well as checking your sheets as soon as you get into your room.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel is close to the center of Pittsburgh (south side of the Monongahela river). The city can be easily explored on foot from there, you can reach the downtown area in 30 minutes on foot. Only negative point is that you need to walk through rather shady area which might some people feeling unsafe with. The hotel itself is good, the room was spacious and the beds very comfortable, the bathroom though showed tiny spots of mold - nothing serious though. Breakfast was served downstairs in a nice environment. It had a big selection (eggs, bacon, sausages, sweets, bread, cream cheese, jam and yoghurts as well as oatmeal) and was very tasty - which we enjoyed.
The coffee machine inside the room was really crappy, I pressed the button for inserting the coffee and it fell almost apart. I notified the receptionist and he told me I could always get coffee and hot water from the breakfast area which was highly appreciated.
As I stayed there on a weekend I used a public parking lot - for free - in the direct vicinity and did not pay for the rather expensive hotel parking.
