Our stay at Moganshan Lingdi Art Space homestay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm, attentive service that made us feel right at home. The Queen Room with Garden View exceeded all my expectations: it’s a spacious 60m², spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated in a charming retro Republic of China style, with a peaceful garden view that felt like a true escape from the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay The breakfast was delicious – fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to each day exploring Moganshan. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from Yucun Square and Minguo Fengqing Street, making it so easy to explore the local area. This homestay is a true gem: the artistic atmosphere, immaculate cleanliness, excellent service, and thoughtful details make it the best place to stay in Moganshan. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful getaway, and I can’t wait to come back!

The staff was beyond kind and made sure to communicate with me daily through WeChat (as there was a language barrier and they wanted to make sure the communication has no problems) about dinner reservations and cleaning the room. They made sure to provide a wonderful experience and helped me with all my requests. They also had an outdoor pool which can be used at any time along with 3 possible walking paths. 2 leading into the mountain and the third leading back to the lake you pass on your way to the hotel. I also tried the lunch and dinner which were both filling to the point where I could not finish the food (although I tried my best), both were 48rmb and 130rmb respectively. The breakfast is also just Chinese dishes, but filling and full of flavor. I also got to take home some homemade snacks! I also tried the outdoor hot tub for 480 rmb, which was worth the money. They provided some snacks, a warm drink and nature provided the rest. The only thing that could have been better is if it had rained. There are also a lot of places to sit and relax. You can play guitar, read, drink tea, and more! And of course a lot of places to take great pictures of your holiday. Finally, make sure to try their homemade plum liquor and to spend time with the cats! They are adorable (one took over my bed and we cuddled while I read)!!

A Comfortable, Pet-Friendly Stay with a Few Areas for Improvement The hotel can be difficult to identify when you first arrive because there is no sign directly on the building. Instead, the sign is attached to a gate that usually remains open, so it becomes partially folded and easy to miss. The hotel also does not have on-site parking. Guests park across the street at the restaurant where breakfast is served each morning. Breakfast was traditional Chinese and included steamed buns, sweet potato, a hard-boiled egg, watermelon, tea, and milk. Everything was very tasty. Coffee was also available, but it cost extra. The people looking after the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they were filling the swimming pool after cleaning it and told us it would be ready later that day. Although the pool was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel, it did not quite meet our cleanliness standards because the deeper areas still appeared slightly cloudy. However, many other guests were comfortable using it, and we saw people enjoying the pool every day. The library area was absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately, there was a strong smell of mildew that made it difficult to spend much time there. These were the main drawbacks of our stay. Our room, however, was lovely. It smelled fresh, the bed was firm and very comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The staff emptied the rubbish and replenished our drinking water every day. The bathroom products were high quality, and toothbrushes were provided upon arrival. The room would have been even better if there had been enough towels for everyone staying in it and if the water had been slightly hotter. The hotel is located directly beside the river, with access to a peaceful riverside walk through beautiful gardens. There is also an elevated walkway farther down the road that looked interesting, although we did not have the opportunity to explore it. The river area was especially relaxing, and if I return, I would bring folding chairs and a small folding table so we could sit in the shallow water, relax, and play games. Most attractions and restaurants are approximately a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The receptionist tried to help us with maps and itineraries. Unfortunately, even after attempting to find the same hike on three different days, we were unable to locate the trailhead. It seemed that even local residents were not very familiar with the exact route. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is that it is pet-friendly and does not charge an additional pet fee, which was an important reason we chose it. The gentleman at reception also helped us secure a dinner reservation at Naked Ranch, where we had a wonderful evening. Moganshan is a beautiful destination, and overall, this hotel provided a comfortable stay. There is certainly some room for improvement, but I would return because I slept incredibly well and appreciated the warm, helpful service. Thank you again to the staff for all their assistance.

We had a wonderful stay at Naked Stables Resort! The resort offered plenty of activities, and our daughter had an amazing time exploring and playing. The service was excellent, especially from Joan, who helped us with everything we needed throughout our stay. She arranged deliveries to our room and even brought our daughter baby toys and a little tent to enjoy. Her kindness and attentiveness made our family feel very well cared for. We truly enjoyed our experience and would love to stay here again!

The interior design is beautifully done, creating a warm and comfortable environment from the moment you arrive. The room was excellent, very cozy and well-maintained, with a beautiful mountain view that makes the whole experience even more special. One of the highlights is the tea room, which is thoughtfully designed for tea preparation and relaxation. The decoration combines traditional and modern elements in a very tasteful way, with beautiful details, instruments, and carefully selected design pieces. The entire space feels artistic and calming. The property is surrounded by abundant greenery and plants everywhere, especially outdoors, which makes the environment feel fresh and natural. Sitting there and looking out toward the bamboo forests is incredibly peaceful and contemplative. Whether the weather is sunny or cloudy, the atmosphere remains equally pleasant and charming. Another lovely detail is the nearby stream—you can hear the gentle sound of flowing water, which adds even more tranquility to the stay. The staff are very kind, welcoming, and attentive, making guests feel comfortable, almost as if they are in their own natural home environment. The guests staying there are also respectful and pleasant, contributing to the calm atmosphere. Transportation is also very convenient, with taxis arriving quickly and reliably. There is a nearby village called Yucun that is lovely to visit, and many scenic areas around the hotel are easily accessible as well. Overall, this is an ideal place for anyone looking for peace, beautiful design, nature, and a truly relaxing experience in Moganshan.
