My boss had the unfortunate idea of making reservations at this place after a recommendation from someone. It's by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in Brasilia. Overall it looks run down and apparently has changed names and hands. Front desk is slow and unhelpful. Rooms are overall old-looking, windows are horrendously dirty and so are the glasses of the panoramic lifts. My fridge had a used Coca-cola bottle with water in it. TV set was old and failing, aircon control a mess. Internet was useless. The bed had bed clothes stained from what looks like too many washes, pillows were uncomfortable. Shower was substandard to say the least and soap provided rather bad. For a little bit more money there are decent options in the same vicinity. I am definitely avoiding this place for the future!
We stayed for two nights / three days in Brasilia and choose the Brasilia Palace Hotel because of it’s history. it’s a Niemeyer Classic and a masterpiece. The location is supercool at the lake side - a bit outside the city, but that’s no problem at all with UBER connections to everywhere. The room design is classic, bathroom a bit dated, but clean and very good standard. Reception was very helpful to organize tours through the city Also they were giving recommendations for restaurants. We had breakfast included - big buffet at Oscar‘s the Italian Resto on side. Breakfast was ok, with a lot of choice. Overall we totally recommend to stay at the BP!
Stayed 2 nights as 1st time visit to Brasilia. This hotel is showing it’s age. First room given did not have working AC or TV. Moved to another room, which didn’t have working safe box and only had 2 hangers. There were only 2 elevators and one had some issues. The location is across the street from 2 shopping centers and next to a gas station with convenience store and eateries. Despite being in a room on 10th floor, there’s thumping music (or noise from ?nightclub) late into night until around 5AM that interferes with restful sleep (bring your earplugs). PROS: location is close to TV tower and walkable to Sara Kubitchek park. The shower water pressure was good. The breakfast buffet on 1st floor was excellent and had good variety of food with amazing fruits. CONS: aging hotel that needs renovation; rooms are worn down; gym was sparse of equipment; elevators are slow. High noise level all night. Overall, 3 star hotel with great breakfast. Would only stay here again if given very high floor and earplugs.
I wanted to give a 5 rating because the location and (deluxe) room are great. However, disappointing breakfast choice, checkin issues, token gym and Wi-Fi were a let down. The hotel is very central and just across the road from Brasilia Park Shopping with a useful food court and some nice restaurants and bars. I needed to work so I purchased a room with separate living and dining area. They tried to give me an executive room when I paid for deluxe. Clear differences in description and pictures and I had to show this before they believed me but Mariana did at least then give me a room with a small but nice balcony. The most annoying aspect was that the Wi-Fi in my room kept dropping whilst I was trying to work… not great for a business hotel. The gym wasn’t worth having, tiny with not much in it at all. The breakfast was disappointing. Lots of food but none of it appealing. Not even a croissant or pain au chocolate for Europeans. I would stay again because the room and location are great but I don’t feel any loyalty after 9 nights there and if a better hotel pops up I’d change.
This hotel, was my first time , stayed on it. The hotel doesn’t have any person that can help you when you arrive, helping you with suitcases. And neither when you check in and walk to elevators to room. The bathroom is very small, you need go into for open the shower. The breakfast is poor, with bread smell old and moldy. All food and drinks are really awful. The Wi-Fi always get off and need to log in all the time. Pool isn’t heated. So, winter you can’t to enjoy it. Mostly on pool area, you can’t have any sun. The Tv has no cable. Terrible Tv. Small and old system. It’s noisy around your room , when stay inside trying get some nap. It’s impossible. You can hear all sound from another rooms. The bed has no blanket or comfort for cold weather. View from the room was ok. People on front desk very friendly. Employees from restaurant on breakfast time , want to clean tables while you are eating, spill or spread food around or on you. Tables, chairs and decoration on Restaurante is very poor, old and uncomfortable . The employees work at kitchen restaurant, talking loudly not respecting the guests. I don’t recommend this stay at all. !!!! The parking lot , need to be paid. The price for this room Hotel it’s expensive, if you compare with another better than it. The location it’s okay, if you have something for to do in Hotel area, some Mall . And if you are athletic , you can walk around yes. Just be careful because drivers, don’t respect the pedestrians.I can’t to tell about the restaurant dinner or room delivery. I didn’t eat on it. Only breakfast because it’s was free ! This hotel has some issue construction now. It’s not pleasant when you walk into hotel with workers and noise. The room is clean, and has kitchen but not microwave, oven or kitchen supplies. Only little refrigerator. And sink ??? Really. Room had queen bed, and one chair . No couch. It’s really not nice for you stay some time inside. Look small.
Kubitschek Plaza was built in 1990, renovated in 2012 and located in the business centre of Brasilia and offers 389 rooms over 17 floors. The hotel has had its best days, but is pleasant and comfortable. Free street parking (if you find a parking spot). Free Wi-Fi in the rooms, but not in the restaurants. The hotel has a pool. Staff is helpful and friendly. Our spacious room was nicely furnished and decorated, with a very good kingsize bed, large TV, 2 club-chairs, air-conditioning, wardrobe, fridge, desk & chair, and balcony. We had a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower over the bath. All was very clean. The terrace window & door hasn’t noice-isolated windowpanes, you will have to face traffic noice. The buffet breakfast is very good: a large choice of cookies & cakes, bread & rolls, ham & cheese, butter & marmalade, eggs nicely made to order, juice & fresh fruits, cereals & yoghurt, tea & coffee. We found Hotel Kubitschek Plaza very comfortable, and we had a pleasant stay. Recommended.
Hotel fica distante das principais atrações turísticas de Brasília, porém de fácil acesso principalmente de quem chega pelo lado Sul. Utilizamos o hotel apenas para um pernoite. Ficamos no apto 107 (casal + 2 crianças). Check in e check out rápidos. Recomendo !!!
Toda a equipe é excepcional.
