This hotel is wonderful, beds and rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The staff were exceptional kind, especially Claire Shang, who was working at the front desk. She speaks fluent English and a number of the staff know English as well. Every time I have family or friends visit me, I get them a room at this hotel. Can’t recommend it enough. Plus the breakfast is cheap but yummy, and you can order specific dishes you want like an omelette or scrambled eggs. Plus local Chinese dishes. Also they have a cute robot that can bring amenities to your room if you need them.

Another one of our favorite hotels we stayed at this trip. This hotel was housed in a gorgeously restored heritage building. The room was so spacious & beautifully decorated. Everything was so tastefully done. The bathtub was perfect & was perfect for 2. Wished we could access the balconies though. The hotel breakfast buffet did not had a lot of variety but the dishes were well done & tasted good. Great location within walking distance of the really charming 咸安坊 which had so many lovely cafes & shops. We also had a delicious dim sum supper near the hotel. It was also only 10min walk to the waterfront. We could also check out late at 2pm. Wished we could stay for another night.

Chose this room and hotel due to the iconic Hankou Custom and river views. Was quite surprised that it's on the end of the pedestrian street, which makes strolling and shopping very practical. Being one of highest room category, somehow I feel the balcony experience can be further improved, as the main selling point is the view from the balcony. The whole balcony experience does not encourage guests to spend more time there? Quality and elegance of chairs, table, plant settings? Free drinks from the cafe is appreciated, and a token of free gift at checkout in the form of Ai Zi pastry makes you feel like you are visiting family and given some food to snack on for the road. Definitely one of the most iconic hotels in Wuhan, must try.

We stayed here for 3 nights, my wife and young baby. Even before we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome, communicating to us via wechat to make sure we knew the location and what to expect. The location is beautiful, about 5km off the main road but it's very quiet, peaceful and calm. We always stay at locations near a lake and in cabin style rooms, but this is by far the best place we have stayed in Wuhan so far. The cabin was spotless, no dust, clean sheets and not a single bug inside the cabin despite it's forest location. The room has a fridge which is very convenient, plenty of bathroom supplies and fresh slippers. They offer plenty of spaces to sit whether that be indoors or outdoors that have fantastic views of the lake and clean spacious areas. Plenty of activities such as kayaking. Finally what made this place extra special was the staff, the young people on the reception desk were super helpful always communicating via wechat (and English) to assist, which was much appreciated given that our family is foreign and dont speak chinese. Examples include leaving water and bathroom supplies at the door in order to not disturb our sleeping baby. Overall this place is amazing and we're sure to visit again.

Amazing hideaway for couples, groups, or families. It's ideally located next to the lake, so you can swim at your own convenience. The owner was very accommodating with helping with transportation, so even though public transportation may be slow, she'll arrange with you to drop you off and pick you up from sightseeing areas nearby. She even took us home, 2 hours away when it was time to leave. The place is great. You'll have access to life jackets, canoes, and floaters. The general area has a kettle, a fridge to buy small quantities of water and cup noodles, and a charging area for your phone, though it would be more convenient if the tent room had its own charging area. Don't forget to bring a repellent and since it's a bit of a hideaway, be prepared to be the only ones there late at night if you choose a tent room. It's very safe though. I stayed there with two kids and we were perfectly fine. There's a surveillance camera in the general area and just outside the bathrooms. My only concern was the bathrooms. They need to be cleaned more often so they're prepared for the next users. Overall, it was a perfect getaway with amazing views and very good service, and conveniently located near sightseeing areas.
