Hotel la Rocca Resort & Spa

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at La Rocca. The location, room, grounds, food and spa were superb. But it is truly the staff at the hotel that raise it to another level. Nothing is too much trouble and as we were amongst the last at the resort for the season, they really spoiled us. Thank you Valentina and Irma at Reception, Fabio for our nightly drinks, Samuele in the dining room and all the others who made us very happy.

Beautiful hotel with a helpful, attentive staff. Room was recently updated. Spa was wonderful. Breakfast buffet was superb. Dinner at sea side restaurant ridiculously expensive (30e for vegetable soup). Gym is a forgotten room in back of property.

I recently stayed here with my husband for a week. Pros o Incredible service, nothing was ever too much trouble, the staff were very attentive. A special thank you to Sergio the night porter who made our stay even more memorable! o Great location - the private beach is nearby, 15 minutes to walk or by the free comfortable shuttle which was always available within 5 minutes. This service was also available to go to the supermarket or to the nearest town (Baja Sardinia) which also has a nice beach. o Hotel communal areas are very clean and the rooms are spacious and cleaned twice daily. o We had breakfast at the hotel which was always fresh with a good selection of buffet style and other things available cooked to order. We didn't have any other meals at the hotel but we heard great things about the food from other guests! No cons for this hotel from us! - Thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

Would like to share my review a lot about this amazing hotel. Was staying there full week and honestly very very happy about choosing this one. First of all the hotel generally look beautiful, calm, not crowded that was really bonus. But what the most impressed me the service, you guys really do great your job, always helpful, always checking on us, very friendly, smiling, definitely one of the best service I saw in my life. I travel a lot and in good places , just most of the time lazy to do reviews, but you definitely deserve to be mentioned as the best service ever and me to write about you for sure. Thanks a lot ❤️ The room also I liked, big, comfortable, always good cleaning. Near is nice beach, comfortable shuttle-van that comes in 5 min after asking any time and 2 min to go there. Also we went to many restaurants in Porto Cervo but still our restaurant La Rocca Beach I think was the best. So I’m truly happy to have this nice hotel and you made my vacation great 👍🏻😊

Room is nice and spacious, upgraded us to a suit with a nice garden. Pool is nice and breakfast has a big variety. Got shuttle car to the private beach and Baja Sardinia. The reception is friendly, with staff helping the luggages. Can always get a table at the beach restaurant which is good to chill (expensive but nice)

Incredible stay with my girlfriend, amazing service and food ! Splendide view from the hotel and the room. Everything was perfect, beach, room, restaurant, gym, spa, pool, food … Can’t wait to be back here. See you next year Audrey & Nathan

Beautiful hotel, staff are incredible, food was amazing, great location. Real class, private beach, great wine list, just perfect. Relaxing, close to Baja Sardinia, shuttle to beach and town, could not fault it

A lovely hotel with great staff and service. Really good food (two restaurants). Dinner is fine dining. Breakfast is buffet and is excellent. Great swimming pools (indoor and out). Quiet and relaxing. Free shuttle bus to private beach (with restaurant and bar) and nearby small town. If you wish to travel around, best to hire a car as local taxis are very expensive and bus service unreliable

The hotel itself is beautiful. Lovely staff and service. However, on arrival, the room we were given had issues with the air conditioner. After an entire first day spent with technicians and staff in and out of our room trying to fix it, finally around 12am we were told to leave our things in our room and were provided another room to sleep in for the night. We were told a different technician will be coming the following day to fix the air conditioning. We paid close to $1,000 per night for a room with an ocean view, and were now sleeping in a room that overlooked a parking lot. The following day we were told it was fixed. Upon arriving back to our initial room, air conditioning was still not working. We were then provided with a suite next door to our initial room. The air conditioner only worked the first night. Once again, another room with a broken air conditioner. Not to mention the fact that it’s 95° degrees outside. We were then provided with another room to sleep in. It was EXTREMELY inconvenient having to deal with this going back and forth between rooms. Upon check out, we asked if they were going to accommodate for the inconvenience we dealt with on the trip (this was our honeymoon)- the manager, I’m pretty sure her name was Veronica, was not helpful at all and said that best she could do was take $90 off the bill because after the initial incident she put us up in a suite (which was not that different than the initial room they put us up in with the broken ac). We were happy staying in our initial room to begin with if the ac had been working. When you’re paying $1,000 a night for a 5 star hotel, these issues shouldn’t arise to begin with and taking $90 off a bill is comical and unacceptable. On a side note, WiFi doesn’t work well at this hotel at all. It’s a shame that this happened because the property is beautiful and most of the staff is very friendly, but we will not be staying there again due to the way we were treated by the manager and the back and forth with switching rooms.
