Pennyhill Park Hotel and Spa

Excellent staff who clearly make the extra effort so you enjoy your stay. For our evening meal we had the pork belly sharing platter in Hillfield restaurant which was lovely. Breakfast in the Thesis was included with the room where you can order from the menu and help yourself to a well stocked buffet. I had the eggs Benedict, pictured below. The spa is very well maintained with a pleasant a**osphere. Would love to come back again.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel between Xmas and New Year. It was only a one night stay as a treat/rest from a hectic few weeks and it definitely delivered that. The spa was just amazing, Plenty of space so didn't feel too busy. A excellent variety of different rooms and areas to use. Changing rooms were a room in themselves. I also had a trea**ent and it was excellent. We had access to this as soon as we checked in. We used it again the next morning and virtually had the place to ourselves as it was before the day spa guest arrived. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable, every amenity you could ask for. We did have a maintenance issue but that was sorted very professionally by staff. We had a meal in the bar in the evening and the food was excellent. One of the best things with this hotel was the staff that we encountered throughout our stay. They were all so friendly and yet professional at the same time and we thank them for making our stay so special. We cant wait to return again and would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering going, its well worth it.

Pennyhill is a superb venue a beautiful setting unfortunately the new food arrangement has made the offering poorer. previously it has been a full carvery type service now it is that for the starters and dessert but table service for main course.As result there’s a very limited options for vegetarians and the main meal was delivered warm at best . Bearing in mind pricing is set for a premium product this is not great . Staff were extremely helpful but that doesn’t really compensate for a Luke warm meal

Am amazing escape away for the night, dinner in Hillfield's bar was delicious but relaxed, just what we wanted after a day in the spa. Really comfortable bedroom and the breakfast selection was vast -just wished I had room for more! Amy, our receptionist for check in and out, and was very welcoming, helpful and efficient - great customer manner. We hope to be back soon.

Just arrived with my Wife for our 10yr anniversary. Honestly been spoilt by the staff to date, Olga our receptionist has really taken care of us and been so kind. Still have the evening to look forward to this amazing hotel/spa. All of the complex is in pristine condition and the staff have been really informative with the use of the pool and facilities.

Sunday Buffet Lunch was superb. We went as a family of six and had a lovely time. The staff were so attentive and the selection was broad. We all decided that there was more than enough selection of seafood and salad, plus meats for starters. With the roast the beef was tasty although I requested rare it was more like medium. The trio of meats defeated our children as there was also plenty of vegetables etc. Pudding was fresh crepes and a selection of cakes... again beautifully made and with attention to detail. Thank you for a lovely time

We were celebrating my 50th birthday and Pennyhill Park made it super special. We had a fabulous room upgrade and a mini birthday dessert and champagne. The room (Willow) was beautiful. We enjoyed the spa and mud experience which really was an experience!! The spa is relaxing, invigorating and varied and the sun was even shining which made a chilled drink by the pools essential. We dined in the Hillfield for dinner and breakfast, and enjoyed drinks in the bar. Every single member of staff we came across were lovely, making sure our stay was a perfect one. We will definitely be back.

Booked and stayed for a one night spa break for my partner and I. Everything prior to the trip boded well for a luxury experience. Unlike many prior trips to other establishments, all lunch, dinner and trea**ent bookings could be done at the time of booking via the hotel’s website . Comms prior to visit was excellent via email and phone. Initial impressions driving up the flower lined roadway were good, this slowly declined from the point where we parked, in what appeared to be a flat NCP car park, walked down to reception, checked in and then were shown through to our ‘Traditional’ room. Nothing actually wrong with any of it functionally, but the buildings and room decorations were tired and garish. ‘Traditional ‘ to me does not mean an eclectic mix of ‘new old’ dark oak furniture, stained glass windows and high cistern toilet in the en-suite, combined with 00’s conference hotel curtains, carpets and light fittings! The hotel is authentic in the same way Disneyland Paris is authentically medieval … in fact, the feel of the place is wholly of a theme park. Spa trea**ents were very good and the spa has great facilities. We had dinner in the Hillfields restaurant on the Saturday evening, limited menu choice but we enjoyed the ‘sharing’ roast chicken. We also had lunch in the Hillfields restaurant on the Sunday - significantly less fulfilling experience. Over an hour wait for the main course which turned up cold. This was then made even worse when it became clear, despite all of the prior comms (including an email confirming three ‘experience ‘ bookings directly under the price to pay and no mention from any of the staff during booking in nor arrival for lunch) that the meal was not included in the package. It took 15 mins to get to the bottom of this as we, a) had to wait for the duty manager to come out of her office to speak to us, rather than communicate via the restaurant manager, and b) to print off the T&C’s and go through the fine print; a significantly less than luxury experience and clearly a case of ‘caveat emptor”. If you enjoy theme parks and reading through small print .. enjoy; if not, it may not be for you .

My wife and I loved our stay. The grounds are beautiful, huge and well maintained. The spa is spectacular, spacious with both indoor and outdoor facilities. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Thank you so much to Amy, who was helpful and knowledgeable. The perfect place to get away from the world and just relax.
