Excelente estadia.

Just leaving this beautiful hotel, rooms very comfortable and spacious. We had ground floor room which had a lovely garden with sun loungers. Buffet restaurant had plenty of choice just wish food could have been a bit warmer. Italian and Grill restaurants both very good. 5 minute train ride to Alvor which picks you up at hotel runs every hour. Beautiful fishing village just visits were ruined by the rain. My son who is 11 was a bit bored think they could do more activities around the pool maybe they do in the summer months. Not sure! Overall lovely place

About an hour’s drive from Faro airport. Visited in may when the Portuguese weather was dream like. The resort is a short walk from Praia Dos Tres Irmao. The staff in the resort were very helpful. Everyone of them had a smile on their face, and tried their best to make our stay better. Food is good but not wow. We managed to book Roastic but even there the food was 6/10. The problem with booking these specialized restaurants is one can only book it physically, and not online. The places get filled up rapidly. Got a credit ( Euro 55) to spend in an outside restaurant. Alcohol and other drinks are free, but you can imagine the queues on these bars are always very long especially considering majority are British tourists. There are 3 swimming pools for children but are more crowded than london tube in rush hour. Overall a good experience, but the money we spent for 4 days probably next time we could explore for better options.

Spent a week here at the end of May having been here previously 2 years ago when it was a Pestana property. When we were here we thought the hotel overall was good but by no means even close to the 5 star it was billed as and I’m sorry to so it’s deteriorated quite a bit in a lot of areas. The good Rooms are spacious, clean and well presented enough At the time we were here there seemed to be just about enough beds and umbrellas but it was by no means at capacity The staff overall are friendly and hard working The bad The food isn’t great and the quality has definitely gone downhill The whole property looks tired and needs some serious TLC. Some of these things are so easy to sort such as attending to the gardens, quite a lot of weeds/dead plants - the buildings need a good power wash which you would think could have happened during close season The a la carte booking system was involves queuing at a specified time hoping to get a reservation and is so out of date. Surely this could be dealt with through an app? The queues to get drinks are ludicrous and there is nowhere near enough staff serving. No self serve machines either which used to be in abundance and would massively help this aspect Entertainment or lack of is lacking table for a supposed 4 star hotel It just isn’t a particularly good hotel and I feel you would definitely feel short changed. We won’t return to this hotel but love Alvor so would source alternative accommodation next time. Such a shame!

Amazing hotel & service.Great friendly arrival, taken to reception & room by buggy with welcome drinks. Staff really can’t do enough for you and are its best selling point. Food was great, we’d read some poor reviews but personally we couldn’t fault it with lots of choices. We booked and ate in both Italian & Steakhouse each with no problem. Adult only pool was beautiful with waiter service. Rooms were cleaned daily & were spotless. Short walk over the bridge to beautiful rocky beach or hotels land train to Alvor beach which runs every hour. A short walk up a slight hill to some lovely quaint shops, We visited Zoomarine with our free Jet2 tickets. A brilliant day out especially the Pirate show. Also my daughter & partner went on boat trip to Benagil caves which they thoroughly enjoyed. This was booked in Alvor. We would definitely return. Only slight negative was the evening entertainment which is aimed mainly for children. Karaoke & bingo wasn’t the best but it improved as the week went on finishing with a great pool side fire show.

We spent five nights at this resort and cannot fault it. Beautiful grounds, clean well equipped rooms and amazing staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Geraldine in reception greeted us upon arrival and explained everything to us. The head chef at Roastic Rodrigo even made us Indian masala tea for breakfast without us asking as well as parathas. A special mention for Vacil who works in Essenze. He looked after us every evening at dinner and treated us like family. All the staff in reception were always super helpful and would happily take us to our rooms in a golf cart when we were too tired! We will definitely be back!

We have been to Portugal a few times with and without children and this time for the first time thought we would try all inclusive. This hotel was perfect. 3 family pools, a huge buffet selection for brekkie lunch and dinner and 2 different restaurants to choose from daily (you need to book the restaurants in advance). We are foodies and were worried about this part but pleasantly surprised! The buffet was good, we had no issues at all they had someone cooking fresh fish, or pancakes depending on time of day. Fresh salads, hot dishes and plenty of fruit. We were greeted by wonderful staff, Raffa being one of them, who made us all feel welcome throughout the whole week. Nothing was too much, everyone from reception, bar and entertainment staff were friendly and welcoming. The entertainment peeps were great with the kids and the nightly shows were great (such a hard job entertaining everyone EVERY night! So well done!) The entrance, surroundings and room were spotless and well kept. A real haven and made you feel instantly relaxed which is exactly what you want. The room was big enough, we are a family of 4 2 boys aged 6 and 9. The bed was huge! The couch bed was perfect and according to my 6 and 9 year old very comfortable! This was perfect and exactly what we needed, my boys loved the freedom of choosing their own food, getting their own drinks and all the choice on offer. It was a highlight for them!! Thank you to all the team there, a great holiday had by all and we will be back! The hotel has its own little train to drop you off into the town and collect you on the hour every hour throughout the day as well as it’s own walkway to the beach (no more than 10mins for both!). It was perfect as kids didn’t have to walk too far or wait around for transport!

We have just returned from a week at this lovely hotel. This was a lovely break in a beautiful setting. The staff at this hotel were simply amazing, seeking to help and make sure that we had everything we needed. Some going totally above and beyond. Having the adults only pool offered us a really peaceful space which we enjoyed. The walk over the bridge to the beach took max of ten minutes and led to a lovely beach with amazing sea views. The hotel offers a land train into Alvor which was a great addition and we enjoyed our trip into the town. Our 4 out of 5 relates to a couple of pieces of attention to detail that may iron out as the season goes on.

Very clean and modern hotel, the pools, rooms, and restaurants are great and the staff are fantastic however a few things really let this hotel down • Evening entertainment- 5:30pm they host a kids disco, this is far to early as the sun is still beaming down and most kids want to still be in the pool or at least getting ready with their family for the evening, following this there is nothing on until 9:30pm, there is nothing going on so just chaos with kids running around looking for something to do, when 9:30 comes round the entertainment then is much to be desired and very child oriented, this lasts for around 30 minutes and then everything shuts off again. • The bar, great selection of drinks available with all premium available but come the evening if you can be bothered to stand in a queue for 20+ minutes waiting to be served - the length is due to the cocktails being made, in my opinion the premium bar that is not utilised needs to be allocated for those who want cocktails and the main bar for all other drinks. • Restaurants- although lovely and clean one of our party is a vegetarian and in the main restaurant there is little to none options that cater for veggies - they host a mid night snack bar which I went too and they had a “vegan chilli” on offer, if they can do that in the middle of the night why not during main dinner times? Literally no options or section for people with diet restrictions. Overall a very pleasant hotel however these issues needs to be addressed and could easily be a 5/5. My stay also was not in peak season or half term so I dread the queues etc when that time comes around
