Eden Resort

The layout of the resort is unusual. Apartment/villas are laid out around a large area, which can be driven around and there is loads of free parking outside each accommodation type. The reception area has a bar and restaurant included within it, which is a separate building to accommodation. The buildings are all painted in various pastel type colours making a very pretty resort. If you had one of the apartments at the far end of the resort, it’s still less than 10 mins walk to reception/restaurant/bar. We had an apartment with 2 double bedrooms and there was also a double sofa bed in the lounge, though we didn’t use that. The apartment was very spacious, clean and modern. It was cleaned daily, beds made daily and towels changed daily if needed. In the kitchen there was a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, lots of cutlery, knives etc. A nice touch would’ve been some washing up liquid. We didn’t make much use of the kitchen other than making some drinks as we were all inclusive. There was an en-suite bathroom and a separate main bathroom. However, there was only 1 hairdryer, which not ideally was in the main bathroom. So if there were 6 of you getting ready and several of you need a hairdryer, there could be a wait while you wait for people to finish in the bathroom. There was lots of hanging space in the main bedroom, only half the amount in the second bedroom as one half of the wardrobe was locked (possibly used for storage). There was no chest of drawers or dressing table in either bedroom, so there was no real surface space to put anything down on in the bedrooms. There were bedside tables, but they were small and low (basically one drawer with no legs). A silly point, but I really missed not having something to put things down on easily! Beds were comfortable. The main bedroom and lounge opened onto a patio area with a sun loungers and table and chairs. We went in March which was out of season. The all inclusive did get busy at times. I can’t imagine how it would cope in full season when at full capacity. Although we always found something to eat and never went hungry, I think that with such a well equipped kitchen in the apartment, if I went back to the resort, I’d go self catering. You certainly won’t be missing much with the all inclusive drinks. They were ok, but the cocktails were disappointing. The pool area looked nice, but we never used it as it wasn’t really hot enough when we were there. The pool bar was also closed when we were there. All the staff we came across were friendly and happy to help. Luckily we’d booked a hire car for the duration of our stay, which was we picked up in Albufeira. It’s only about €4 for their equivalent of an Uber into Albufeira. It would be quite a bit of a walk all along very busy roads, so could be a walked, but not the nicest walk and very busy roads. The resort is a bit outside of the main part of Albufeira, so if we hadn’t had a car, we’d have had to use

Wonderful Resort we have visited 4 times and gets better each year. Perfect for families with young children, the villas are very clean and spacious, food always beautiful and the snack bar is handy for the kids. The pools are perfect for our family and the kids area/pools keep our children busy. The staff make this place amazing, Victoria in Reservations always a pleasure to deal with when booking, the reception staff always so friendly, the restaurant/bar staff always so busy and work very hard and nothing is ever a problem and a big thank you to Vanessa and Cintia in the Entertainment/Kids club they make Eden a real fun place and our children adore them not forgetting Eddie the Turtle. Really good accommodation, the staff were absolutely fantastic and provided excellent customer service and was so so helpful. Really close to the beach but did not need to go outside because there was so much to offer. Would definitely recommend!

First time staying at a resort and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were super friendly and helpful, everything seemed super easy! From the moment you arrive your taken care of, our bags were delivered to our room and we were given a lot of local information. We travelled as family of 3 with a toddler, staff were super friendly to him also. My husband surprised me with a massage and facial on our last day in Adam and Eve Spa. I have had many massages in 5 star hotels and Caribbean cruises and I must say my massage at Adam & Eve by Mariana was the best massage I ever had and felt so relaxed afterwards, Mariana has hands of an angel. We didnt get the all inclusive package however did avail of snacks and drinks package of 50e per day for all of us which included hot and cold snacks and drinks in pool bar between 10am and 6pm which was perfect for us as we had dinner in old town some evenings. Overall we had a fab time and we will definitely be back!!

We travelled as a couple close to retirement but now we've been we would also highly recommend for young families, in fact we hope to persuade our daughters to do a trip with their families. We had a one bedroom apartment which has a kitchen lounge and dining area - the sofa converts to a bed so would be ideal for a young family. We didn't hear a sound from the family next door and they had a toddler. Everywhere beautifully maintained and cleaned. The gardens are stunning. The indoor pool was small but heated - they allow a maximum of 15 people and it has to be booked. All the staff without exception did a great job and most were very friendly, I suspect the others didn't speak English very well. The food was excellent with lots of choice and variety - Portuguese, Italian, Asian evenings where there were four or five dishes to go with the theme which allows you to do a taster plate if you are unsure if you will like a dish. We are reasonably fit and at a stroll I would say it was no more than five minutes to the reception and restaurant area and we were almost as far away as possible. Entertainment was OK for us but as we eat later we often had to sit elsewhere and move into the entertainment area after some of the families moved on. The shuttle bus service was excellent and the driver so friendly and happy to advise us first time tourists. One thing we'd like to have known (not hotel related) there is a hop on hop off tourist bus - it would have suited us had we known about it but we didn't find out until the day before we came home. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and I would recommend this resort without hestation.

A fantastic resort. The entertainment staff are so friendly and create an amazing environment for families. A special shoutout to Mauro, his positive energy and personality was superb throughout. Catalina and Vanessa in kids club were great with our children who had the time of their lives. Massive thank you Will, Sarah, Ella & Louis

The best resort I've ever been so far. Our first all inclusive experience didn't disappoint. Lovely staff spacious accomodation. Clean and well maintained. And food was delightful! Will definitely come back next time.staff are really accomodating and nice.

Wonderful stay. Staff are all so friendly and lovely, very attentive in restaurant- always keeping busy and working hard. Room was cleaned every day apart from Sundays, very good job. Food was a smaller choice than normal with any all inclusive I’d been to before but was more than enough and all dishes cooked to a high standard of care/ taste. Very clean resort. Entertainment team were great. Can’t wait to visit again!!
