Happy Nest Hostel Cebu is a good place to stay if you’re looking for something affordable and comfortable. The hostel is clean, the beds are decent, and the common areas are well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, which makes the stay more pleasant.
The location is convenient for getting around Cebu, and it’s suitable for solo travelers or backpackers. Overall, it’s a good value for money, and I would recommend it for travelers who want a simple, budget-friendly stay.
Swift check-in and check-out process. The property is secure as keycards are needed to enter the gate. The rooms are clean and have daily housekeeping. The walls are quite thin so noises from outside pierce through, and the aircon and shower heater in my room need a bit of fixing. Overall, this is value for money and would be my go-to accommodation every time I'm in Cebu.
I was surprised to see that this is the former Hostel 7, which I have never visited before but I have heard so much about. Positive reviews, yes. I stayed here for one night. Though the structure is quite old, the cleanliness very much compensated for it. The people are amazing too! Very hospitable, fun, and accommodating. The bar is open 24/7. Just a few steps from the hostel is a restaurant (part of Casa Rosario) and a 7/11. This is located near Saint Theresa's College and is within walking distance to Mango Avenue and Fuente Osmeña Circle. It'll be interesting to stay here for more than just one night and just explore the neighborbood.
Great for a night layover close to the airport, place is super clean and feels like a home.
The instructions for checkin are a bit confusing but ok, food options are close by and only 10min drive by grab to he airport
The hotel location is great for 1 night stay if you have early flight, the room itself is smaller but can accommodate 3 person the only problem is it has a share bathroom and no hot water for a shower not ideal if you have very early flight and need shower unless you can handle a cold shower and in common bath, In my case I have to upgrade to private room that cost me additional 650 pesos in addition to my payment of 941 pesos but it has a hot shower and private bathroom, although I can get at the sane amount in a better and more comfortable hotel in the area. The staff us very helpful and accommodating they provide a microwave and kittle to make a hot water but you have to buy your own water. All in all it was ok.
ผผู้เข้าพักI like that the location is close to the event I have attended. The staff are also friendly and approachable. It would have been better though if there were toiletries provided like may tissue. I like that there's available hot and cold water. I will still come back though. I still have plans of getting a room here on my next events.
RRez3649Wonderful Stay — Peaceful, Clean, and Budget-Friendly!
I stayed here for 7 nights and had a very satisfying experience. The place is quiet and peaceful, which makes it perfect for rest and relaxation. You also have a good sense of privacy during your stay.
The hotel is budget-friendly but still very clean and comfortable. The food was very good and staff are all accommodating and friendly, especially Sir Bobby in the kitchen, he’s very kind and always helpful. The housekeeping team also did a great job keeping my room neat and tidy every day.
Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable, clean, and peaceful place to stay.
VVardiVery friendly people.

Very near to Alona beach . And all the road full of restaurants. Very comfortable place
ผผู้เข้าพักI stayed in August 2025. The two female staff members were very kind and planned the tour. The room is clean enough to relax, but I spent a lot of time drinking coffee and alcohol in the free lounge space next to the reception. Thank you for the comfortable time.
ผผู้เข้าพักVery decent budget hotel well located, close to ayala. Nothing fancy, but good pillows and mattresses. Only thing, ask for a room not towards Echavez Street, as that can get very noisy.
Also, good curtains.
