This was our third stay at the Copthorne and have always enjoyed it.  Very comfortable and friendly front of house staff. The big let down is mould and dirt on the floor around the outside of the shower wall.

Stayed one night at James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor for a conference held onsite. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel has three separate lift banks servicing different areas — if you’re unfamiliar with Wellington, definitely ask staff to explain the easiest exit route to the city. It makes a big difference. Breakfast was a very large buffet with plenty of options, though I’ve experienced better quality elsewhere. The hotel itself is older but has solid bones. Perfectly adequate for a work overnight stay. For personal travel I’d probably choose somewhere with more atmosphere, however it felt safe and comfortable. One odd feature: some rooms face an internal terrace/window area — remember to close your curtains as people can see straight in. Bed was clean and well made, the room was tidy, though the carpet is showing its age. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water — a highlight. Overall: reliable, practical conference accommodation rather than a destination stay.

ทางเข้าเป็นบันไดแรกเลยลากกระเป๋าเดินทางลำบาก มีพนักงานชาวเกาหลีคนหนึ่งอยู่ที่โต๊ะ และเขาก็เป็นกันเองมาก มีลิฟต์แต่มันเก่าเลยใช้แค่ขนสัมภาระเท่านั้น ฉันอยู่ชั้น 1 ดังนั้นฉันจึงรู้สึกเหมือนอยู่ชั้น 2 มีกลิ่นอับมาจากโถงทางเดิน โต๊ะในห้องไม่ได้ทำความสะอาดและมีอาหารวางอยู่ ส่วนที่แย่ที่สุดคือฉันไม่เคยอยากเข้าห้องน้ำอีกเลย มีร้านอาหารสองแห่ง แต่ร้านหนึ่งที่มีห้องครัวที่เราสามารถใช้ได้คือห้องครัวของแบ็คแพ็คเกอร์ซึ่งตั้งอยู่เลยโต๊ะ ที่นี่ก็สกปรกนิดหน่อยเหมือนกัน คุณต้องไปทานอาหารที่ร้านอาหารอื่น รีวิวโดยรวมคือพนักงานเป็นกันเองและบริการดีแต่สกปรกมาก

Seriously lacking in hospitality. Asked for a latte at 5:57am and was told “ we don’t  open until 6am” No newspapers available. Bellhop service virtually nonexistent. Room service was good. Front desk agent untrained and unsupervised. No greeting upon entering the hotel or restaurant. Great mixologist at the bar.  Kudos to Andreas the only friendly person we met not really sure what his position is there but he was great, helpful and kind to two old ladies with multiple bags.  No hand soap in the bathroom and towels were not changed.  $45.00 per day valet car service seems a bit much given that there really isn’t another option. We stayed in a “superior double double “ Not sure what superior meant. One of the beds was hard up against a wall. Less than a meter between end of beds and desk/tv stand. Entertainment system did not offer any pay as you go options just a bunch of sky. No Netflix type options. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone and most certainly will not be going back!

โรงแรมคลาสสิกใจกลางถนนคิวบาที่คึกคัก เป็นจุดที่สะดวกสบายในการเที่ยวชมใจกลางเมืองเวลลิงตันที่สวยงาม :-)) - ห้องพักมีขนาดเล็กแต่มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครันและตกแต่งอย่างสวยงาม เราได้ที่จอดรถในลานจอดรถของโรงแรม ดังนั้นเราจึงรู้สึกปลอดภัยที่จะไม่ต้องให้พนักงานทุกคนออกจากรถของเราในช่วงสุดสัปดาห์ยาวที่เราพัก

Absolutely loved staying here. Great welcome by staff, excellent room with a congratulations gift for our 20 year anniversary. The decor is cutting edge the whole pkacebus high quality. Absolutely recommend the onside restaurants too.

First time stayed with this hotel, was a bit worried without air conditioning but turned out great. The staffs were friendly, hotel room was clean and spacious enough to fit 3 people. Will definitely consider staying again when I next visit Wellington.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. King studio room was spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast was nice with a good selection on food but the scrambled eggs were cold. Hotel is in walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay again.
