My destination was Optics Valley, which required about an hour’s drive in the rain. The Hubei Provincial Museum is located nearby, making this hotel a convenient choice for visitors planning to tour the museum. The breakfast was excellent, the facilities were well maintained, and the staff were kind and attentive. However, as with many hotels in Wuhan, travelers who do not speak Chinese may encounter some communication difficulties due to the language barrier—a common challenge across most parts of China outside of Shanghai.
Impeccable service from the front desk staff. Every time I enter the premise, they will stand up and greet. Have stayed in numerous hotels in Wuhan, from Wanda Reign to boutique hotels like that, such greeting is a rare sight from the front desk.
Decent room as me and my friend wanted to try a loft concept. Will be good if they can add more storage or tables in the living hall as it is pretty bare with a small table. It was a tad awkward with no concealed areas to change clothes after showering. I have to walk over to the dry toilet to change.
Location was a stone throw away from Yan Jiang which is good for evening walks and great view. It is away from the bustling areas of Li Huang Pi road where there are shopping stalls. But walk is about 10 mins away.
Overall it was a decent stay.
The best hotel in Huangshi. Very clean and modern interior design, super friendly staff. The crossstreet shopping center is definitely a huge plus where I can take my daughter to the kid playground and shop at many major brands.lots of chain store restaurants. Night time plaza dancing in so many different groups of people, young and old, female and male, amazing and everyone is welcome to join for free. I also hosted two large groups of family party at the hotel's restaurant. Decent food and service.
Zzp_haruService: Amazing! I kept bothering the front desk 大东 and 小商 for help multiple times. The hotel porter frequently helped me with my bags and items. They also helped me with small requests like: putting on my necklace (my nails were long and it was difficult), where and how to buy another suitcase, locating a scale to help me weigh my luggage, lending me various items such as scissors, helping me with new room cards when I misplaced mine, etc. They were also very handsome so it was easy on the eyes~ Housekeeping was very kind and gave me an extra toiletries pouch when I mentioned that I really like it. Although I did not have additional requests, they were sure to let me know that I could let them know if I needed anything.
Location: Excellent! It was close to Jianghan Pedestrian street which is one of Wuhan's top picks for shopping, night markets, and street food. I spent a lot of times shopping and it was very easy to either walk back to the hotel to drop off my things, or cheap to take a Didi to the hotel. It is also close to the river with many sightseeing spots which my father went to and was very happy about. It was also far enough away from Jianghan Pedestrian street such that it is not impacted by noise.
Facilities: clean and wonderful. Breakfast was buffet style with many local Wuhan specialties, like mianwo, beef noodle soup, and reganmian (hot dry noodles). It was predominantly chinese food but there are western breakfast foods such as toast, eggs, sausages, salad etc. for those who prefer western food.
Cleanliness: A+++! Room was very beautiful, clean, spacious, and comfortable. There is a feeling of elegance and well-maintained spaces all through the hotel.
Thank you so much 小云 and all hotel staff for this stay. I am very happy :)
