This is my second stay .It has an excellent location near Suzhou Centre and Jinji lake . The staff at the front desk are extremely helpful.I did not arrive on the first day i'd booked and they managed to contect ctrip and get my booking changed which I really appreciated .

Overall really great hotel for the price. We got a 2 bedroom unit, plenty of space for 3 people, clean and well appointed. The hotel is located directly from the mall with plenty of food options. Downstairs more food options and we even got a chance to get massages at one of the local shops - excellent service there. The daily breakfast buffet was adequate.

We had a wonderful stay at Somerset Baitang Suzhou. The location is excellent — accessible to Metro Line 1, making it easy to travel to popular sightseeing spots and the Suzhou Industrial Park High-Speed Rail Station. Our family room was spacious, clean, and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We really appreciated the strict no-smoking policy in the rooms, which kept the air fresh. The gym was well equipped, and we loved the thoughtful touch of refreshment drinks available in the reception area. Breakfast was served buffet-style with a good balance of Chinese and Western options. The staff were professional and courteous, communicating fluently in both English and Mandarin. They were also quick to respond via the residence’s WeChat, which made everything from inquiries to requests very convenient. Overall, an excellent stay that combines comfort, convenience, and great service — highly recommended for families and travelers alike
