First visit

Lovely tiny park no dogs allowed so no dog poo around. Picnic table and grassed area. Climb the steps to Batman's Folly on the site of the old castle. Good views from the top.

Tucked away on a little hill in Eye, the area is so peaceful and beautiful oasis. It's a lo-fi rustic site, but sadly not managed by English Heritage nor National Trust and I have to ask; why not?
