I would recommend to anyone interested in American history and politics to tour the inside of the White House (it’s free but limited). The White House is also visible from outside by keeping a distance from it. You can also see the National Mall and Memorial Parks nearby (there are 14 parks and monuments in total), including the iconic Washington Monument.

I would recommend to anyone interested in American history and politics to tour the inside of the White House (it’s free but limited). The White House is also visible from outside by keeping a distance from it. You can also see the National Mall and Memorial Parks nearby (there are 14 parks and monuments in total), including the iconic Washington Monument.
The White House is also a must-see stop for Washington trips, as the president's office and residence, nearby security is also very strict, and the range of visits to the White House palace is relatively far away. White neoclassical style sandstone buildings can be seen from a distance, and the architectural style is very distinctive. Parking is not very good nearby, it is recommended to take public transportation.
It was really nice to finally see the white house after all these years of wanting to go!
If anyone’s is planning on taking a tour of the White House, just know it’s a MUST! I had an amazing time and learned a lot of cool stuff! Also parking kinda sucks so if I was you I would Uber or Lyft!
