This 16th-century mosque is located inside Nis Fortress. It is a lovely historic building and worth visiting.

This small building is quite exquisite. The proportions feel perfect from the interior. Today saw a small exhibition of modern textile art which was shown off to great advantage.
16th Century Mosque in Nis Fortress
The mosque is located in the fortress and is the only mosque preserved out of 10 mosques erected. Amazing architecture and many of the ancient ruins in the fortress.It must be seen and appreciated.
