I have been notching off a list of places I wanted to visit in person (basically my travel bucket list). I liked this park but I think $10 was too much unless I just missed a few locations in the park.
Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area located in the leisure area east of Los Angeles, at the foot of the mountain, is a hidden gem. The entire leisure area covers 836 acres and is a habitat for many local California flora and fauna. The 70 acres of lake is quiet and beautiful, and can be fished and non-motorized all year round. In summer there are 5 acres of Oxidation Swimming Areas and unique water play areas for fun. Boating, barbecue, cycling are all the favorite activities. It is winter and the snowy mountains are the most beautiful backdrop.
