One of the nine nine princes in Kumano Kodo
Original Text
It is said to be one of the ninety-nine princes on the Kumano Kodo. I don't know what kind of route Kumano Kodo will take from here, so I don't know. It's along the road, so you may miss it if you come by car.
There is a shrine on the ruins of the prince on the side of the road. I couldn't understand without a tourist map of Gobo City. I wondered what kind of scenery it was at that time.
The surrounding area is surrounded by trees, and the back is a dense mountain, which makes you feel very atmospheric. I think it is easy to visit near Gobo station. However, it is just like a shrine, so don't expect too much!
It is one of the prince shrines along the Kumano Kodo, located on the west side of Dojoji Temple, but be careful as you will pass by if you are not careful.
Visited with reference to the "Komatsubarajuku to Amashiri Course" in the "Miyakohime no Sato Gobo Furusato Exploration Guidebook" published on the Gobo City website. It is located on the south side of Mt. Hachiman. It is also called kukaiji Oji, and it is one of Kumano kujukuji Sha shrines established in the 'Kiiji' pilgrimage to Kumano Sanzan. When it was enshrined at Hachiman Shrine in 1881, the wooden statue of the Shintai was moved to Dojoji Temple and is enshrined as a statue of Princess Miyako.
