The Mondego Verde Park is located along the bank of the Mondego river. It is a place for children and adults to leisure their time with alot of activities.
I imagine the locals will spend there wonderful Sunday afternoons and leisure rats with their loved beings, but for tourists, the wonder that is supposed to be met with a zone is undescribeable ...
We visited this park in our last day of stay in Coimbra for a pleasant night walk along the river and on the beautiful pedestrian bridge with view of the city.
Rather than a travel destination, it's like a light promenade and a space for relaxation. It's great to feel the long history of medieval cities and rivers that have flowed over centuries.
