We spent eight hours there and still couldn't get enough. The facilities are new, the scenery is beautiful, there aren't many people, the lines aren't long, there are shows to watch, and the food is affordable. Hunan TV is right next to it, and when we got out at almost 10 pm, we still had food at Pizza Hut, and it was only 40 yuan per person, plus gifts. I highly recommend planning a full day with your kids to have fun!

Its large, open grounds provide a comfortable environment for a day of family fun and animal encounters.One of the standout features is the safari bus, which offers a fantastic way to see many of the animals in a spacious, naturalistic setting. It’s a highlight that allows you to cover a lot of ground comfortably. We were also delighted to see two giant pandas, which were a definite treat.The zoo offers more than just viewing; the interactive experiences are highly engaging. We attended a memorable bird show where parrots danced, and one clever bird even performed simple math problems, amazing both children and adults. There are also several feeding events throughout the day. My daughter had a wonderful time feeding carrots to a llama, and we saw other opportunities to feed animals like elephants, though we didn't partake in that one. These interactive moments make the visit particularly special for kids.For visitors who might find the large park challenging to walk, the zoo thoughtfully offers small electric carts for rent. This is a great option for families with young children or elderly members, ensuring everyone can enjoy the park without getting too tired.Overall, the Changsha Ecological Zoo provides a wonderful, spacious, and interactive day out, free from the overwhelming crowds of zoos in other major cities.

Because we suddenly decided to extend our stay in Changsha, we added a visit to the Changsha Museum to our itinerary. We quickly booked tickets and hired a guide through Ctrip! Ctrip was incredibly efficient; within five minutes of placing the order, the guide contacted us with a QR code and an arrival time for the afternoon. We arrived at 3:00 PM, and our guide, Xiao Chen, began his explanation with patience and thoroughness. The children learned a lot! A thumbs up!

This free park features a large garden right inside the north gate. Walking up the hillside into the wooded area, you can admire the diverse beauty of various plants. There's not much human intervention; it's mainly general maintenance. It's a great place for citizens to relax.
