"Very good and considerate staff. Always available. Awesome design and very good lighting and landscaping, albeit a questionable caliber of guests (some hotel guests were staring at me in a way that makes me feel unease and somewhat uncomfortable), but i understand totally it has nothing to do with the hotel itself.
Would recommend for people who want a relaxed and laid-back stay in Florence. This is your at-call mini villa here in Florence, very cute backyard and very nice design, and the room was unbelievably comfortable, the shower included. And they had a nice and quiet reading room in the common area, despite the fact that i would recommend the hotel install some anti-UV shades at the place, in general the atmosphere was impeccable. This is the place i want to stay in for 3 months to do some research in."
ผผู้เข้าพักTitle: Disappointing Experience That Didn’t Match the Photos
I booked a Premium room specifically because the listing photos showed blue-sky views and a golden dome. However, upon arrival I was assigned a room on the first floor facing a dark, rundown alley—nothing like the images. The bathroom also didn’t match the photos: it was much smaller, with virtually no counter space.
When I raised this with the hotel, I was told I hadn’t booked a “Premium room with view.” At the time of booking, my only options were: a cheaper “Deluxe,” a more expensive “Premium,” and a “Suite.” As a guest, I relied on the photos shown for the Premium category, which all featured a view. The mismatch felt misleading.
I asked about changing rooms, but was told the hotel was fully booked and that they had already given me a “larger” room of 20 m². The stated size range for the Premium room is 18–23 m², so this didn’t resolve the core issue—the lack of the view shown in the photos. After persistent requests, I was offered a second-floor room in another building without an elevator. That room had a larger bathroom but a smaller bedroom, and the window opened directly onto exhaust vents. It wasn’t a viable alternative.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience for a five-star property. While staff were polite in manner, the room assignment and photo discrepancy felt misleading, and there was no practical solution offered despite the hotel being aware of the issue. To add to the frustration, I later noticed my luggage had been dented.
In summary: the Premium room I received did not match the advertised images—especially the view and bathroom—and the lack of clear labeling (e.g., “with view” vs. “no view”) led to unmet expectations. I hope the hotel updates its listings to accurately reflect room types and views so future guests can book with confidence.
DDagsieGreat Hotel. Excellent location and accessible to most attractions. Pleasant check-in and can state that all staff were extremely nice and helpful. Amazing room provided (complementary upgrade). Kitchenette with sitting area, large bedroom with comfortable bed and pillows. Large bathroom with a massive spa bath. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
ผผู้เข้าพักService was ok except for the kinda ****** head waiter/uncle at the restaurant during buffet service. He is always free for anyone else except for us Asians, it’s always “a moment please” even though he’s not busy.Apart from that, everything was good. The room was spacious, there’s even a separate room to store luggage. They also had a complimentary local snack which is yummy, towels are divided into blue and pink which is cute. However, the sewage system isn’t very efficient. Water pools up when you take a slightly longer shower so I did not dare wash my hair during the stay there. Although it doesn’t seem like it’s huge from the outside, it certainly is on the inside and very vintage. Didn’t get to try the jacuzzi system though. Spa service is also available. A harp player plays daily from 6pm to 8pm. We had a day tour which starts early too so they have a service which lets you take away your breakfast.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel was nice and Tidy as you'd expect from a five star hotel. Breakfast was great and staff helpful. What I found strange was that you had to pay to use the spa (use of sauna etc.) With hefty price tag of €70 PP on Friday. My mattress was knackered springs broken and one side virtually collapsed. The bathroom door was taty with bits peeling off. Admittedly, I couldn't be bothered to complain and get my room changed after unpacking our stuff and noticing the state of mattress late at night. And parking was €18 per night, which I didn't notice of any mention of their website or Trip.com. They charged me for 2 instead 3 when I mentioned the mattress before checking out. To be honest there has to be some level checking the condition of the beds by the supervisor. The pool on the roof was very small, not worth bothering with except if want to sit beside it for suntanning. I didn'tnotice any offer of drinks or food at the pool. I gave service a four star only because we asked for couple of things to the room which didn't happen.
ผผู้เข้าพักI booked total 14 days for a same room, I just request make up room services 2 times only, that why my room face tissue and toilet tissue use finished, so I ask for more 2 boxes face tissue and 2 rolls toilet tissue, but a male room service staff don’t give and say need exchange one box face tissues for one roll toilet tissue and then I walk in complain this case with reception female staff, finally she give me back 2 rolls toilet tissue, but her attitude so bad sit say me wrong use words describe toilet tissue only, may I ask all room customer if case like this make sense or not?
Original I gave them full mark comment for this hotel, now I trade back my original comment and give them lower mark comment first until after 2 days when I leave this hotel and they do back good attitude and improve for their service and then I will give back them good comments!
I am very easy handle person just say actually things only!
