Service is great and receptionist spoke great English. Room is fine except that ventilation needs improvement.
Location is great with the hotel located near the main streets and of course the beach itself.
Colazione super. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato
JJoe RossiterBooked this hotel as it was situated just off the main dual carriageway and had good road links to Cesena and Forli for trains and good links back to Florence and Pisa for the airport.
The hotel is located in the heart of the town and the entrance isn’t visible from the road. It has its own carpark for €6 per night but there are lots of parking spaces around the town, white lined spaces are Free!! Blue lined space you have to pay for, so check the lines!
Check in was easy and the staff were friendly and informative. The room was spacious and clean, there were two plugs one either side of the bed so being an adapter and extension cable for extra plug space, little mini bar that was reasonably priced and cupboard space with a little safe in.
The swimming pool was warm and the roof opens in the summer. The attendant was knowledgeable and excited to explain that the pool is warmed by the natural springs and that smell of sulphur was from these springs and good for the skin. Pool was long enough to swim in and had bubble jets and falling water.
There is also a bigger thermal spa available but we didn’t have time to make use of that.
Breakfast was a good selection of cold meats and cheeses, pastries and cakes etc, no hot option though. The only negative for breakfast was, staff served all the food, this was challenging with the language barrier and meant you had to ask for anything you wanted….
Town was lovely, lots of little shops and a few restaurants and bars. Towns folk were friendly and helpful and the little market was nice for local products. Lots of walking and cycling routes in the area too
CClaiudiuGreat Value Stay with Character – Some Fixes Needed!! 8/10 !
This property offers a unique experience with its beautiful, historic setting near Bologna. The grand alley, antique decor, spacious living room, and modern touches like AC and smart TVs make it feel both classic and comfortable. Parking is easy, and the detailed directions are helpful—just make sure to complete online check-in to get all the access codes.
Pros:
• Peaceful location in nature, yet close to Bologna.
• Clean bedsheets, AC, and modern TVs.
• Impressive decor and spacious common areas.
• Plenty of parking space.
Cons:
• Room and bathroom doors are thin wood, noisy, and not well insulated.
• Bathroom shower door has water leakage issues, from bathroom to hallway to our bedroom—needs fixing.
• Beds are typical Tuscan style, not very stable but nice and new bed sheets!
• No mosquito nets, though AC keeps the room cool.
• Shared kitchen is downstairs; hair dryer didn’t fit any socket…
Overall, it’s one of the best stays in Tuscany at this price range. Just avoid bringing a sports car—the village roads are in very very poor condition.
ผผู้เข้าพักNice hotel, convenient location if you need to move south of Bologna area ( but far from any public transportation), friendly and efficient staff, Clean, decent wifi, good breakfast. A typical business hotel, location is nothing special but far from too much traffic areas. Rooms are not too big but there is all what you need. Free Minibar when you book a superior room.
FFree Traveller 008The Royal Plaza Hotel in Rimini is a decent choice for a stay, especially if you value a central location and friendly service. However, with some updates to the rooms and an expansion of amenities, it could easily become a more attractive option for travelers seeking a more comprehensive hotel experience. As it stands, I give the Royal Plaza Hotel a three-star rating, acknowledging its strengths while also recognizing the areas that need improvement.
SSail with SallyOverall a basic hotel, thin blankets no duvets Italian style. The view from the 2nd floor isn’t really of the sea, more of the sidewalk so please take note. The staff were really really nice and helpful. Good location from beach but it’s quite a walk from the train station especially with luggages. Our room 216 also had a bit of a sewage smell sometimes but it goes away after a while.
