This hotel room was really comfortable: big and comfortable bed, private bathroom. The floor was dusty when we arrived, but there was no major cleaning problem beside that. The shared washing machine was a plus.
Personal opinion: we were not big fans of the neighborhood that felt artificial and touristy (reflected in food options and prices). However there is a bus stop 5 minutes away — so it's easy to go to most places.
What an amazing find of a nice cosy hotel with hard to match friendly hospitality and home atmosphere. It's located in a quiet and easy to get to street with easy accessibilty.
As it's our first time here we found the assistance accorded tremendously helpful. Whether it's with places of interest to visit or favourable restaurants the recommendations were spot-on. We also found the friendly advice of local culture useful. The tea sessions with the landlord are memorable.
We highly recommend a stay at this hotel if you should be thinking of making a visit to this region. We very much look forward to our next visit.
Great hotel with great service. Love the nice lady at the reception, that seems to be the only person in Xiamen to speak English. Love the cute dog, that is waking around the yard. I only had little problems with the WiFi and the room didnt have a fridge unfortunately. Still better than most hotels nearby though

ผผู้เข้าพักExcellent service from the lady boss and the staff. From the time I contacted her, she sent me lots of information about getting to the guesthouse. More importantly, she followed up with me to ensure that I am on the right track to the guesthouse. This was very much appreciated as I had a flight delay and that messed up my original travel plan. The lady boss was very proactive in ensuring that I find my way to the guesthouse. The lady boss' daugther is very cute and adorable. She shared part of her orange with me and when I told her that I liked it, she went off and got one for me! Even wanted to help me with my luggage but a little difficult as she's only 8 years old.
The guesthouse is located on top of a small hill and lady boss will pick up guests at the bottom of the hill; actually, in my opinion, hardly needed as it's only 10 minutes or less walk up a gentle slope but she does the pickup as part of the service that they offer.
The room is very nice and clean. The toilet is western style and has a very nice touch - spot lights are installed on the toilet ceilings and when the nights are cold, you will really appreciate the warmth from these lights after coming out from your shower!
And finally, they will drive guests out to 2 of the best viewpoints for the Tianluokeng cluster at no additional charge.
AArianna91A truly wonderful experience! We felt really at home in this characteristic family-run hotel just at the fringe of WuyiShan National Park 🌸 the hotel is conveniently located just inside the National Park and it is a perfect starting point for your hiking exploring the wonderland of WuyiShan. The building maintains its authentic vintage charm while offering all the conveniences of modernisation: the rooms are spacious and well-equipped and you can enjoy a lot of communal spaces for various activity too. The courtyard and the little garden are especially charming and in the tea room you can sip a cup of hot Dahongpao for free after a muscle-challenging walk around WuyiShan. The hotel is also very close to a lot of restaurant and amenities, while shielding you from the hustle and bustle of tourists. We especially appreciated the privacy and silence surrounding the hotel: it wonderful to hear the sound of the rain in the night gently lulling you to sleep. The hotel is also very clean and well-looked after. The service staff is particularly helpful and supportive: super gentle, welcoming and polite! We really recommend this hotel as a base for your discovery of the wonders of WuyiShan!
ผผู้เข้าพักI stayed three nights at this wonderful guest house, which is situated in a very quiet, peaceful and scenic part of Gulangyu, at almost the highest point, where you could see a gorgeous view of the harbour, the town and the lush green gardens below. I was fortunate to be upgraded to a better, room, presumably because the guest-house was quiet, despite it being Golden Week. The room, the furnishings, the bathroom and the scenic view certainly made it a restful experience. However, the breakfast, while extremely healthy and standard for locals, did not seem to quite fit with the rest of the experience. In particular, I was surprised not to be offered anything to drink at all - not even water or tea. However, the staff were ready to offer bottled water at any time. But on this note, if I could make a suggestion, it would be preferable to install large water container in the lobby, so that guests could use refillable water bottles rather than creating a lot of unnecessary plastic bottles. Despite these small issues, I would certainly recommend the place and stay again though for the serene, historic location.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe accommodation provides spacious and clean rooms and is perfectly located in the Tulou scenic area at the southern part of Taxia village and very close to both the 田螺坑 土楼 and 河坑 土楼 as well as the 裕昌 building. All of them can be reached by car in just a few minutes.
I arrived at the Inn without a car myself and the owner not only helped me organize the visits but even offered to drive me to several nearby tulou. We had the chance to share several meals prepared by his wife, which were all excellent, and some very good tea from the region. The host is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor - we talked a lot after I arrived despite my very limited Chinese.
All in all, I can recommend this place very much - I would come back anytime if I decide to visit the area again.
(P.S. make sure to ask the host about the fireflies nearby - seeing them under the starry night is a mesmerizing experience and was one of the highlights of my trip to Fujian)
Nni妮Really loved this hotel. It is within 10-15 minutes walking from both ferries. Service is great- I received many great recommendations from the staff. The property is absolutely beautiful and breakfast is nice. They can also help to carry your baggage when you arrive or when you want to walk around before leaving.
YYCI was initially drawn to the hotel by its name, but what I liked even more was its interior design. It's themed around Zen and tea culture, with floor-to-ceiling windows in the room facing Dawang Peak and the Chongxi Trail. The stay was very comfortable and I slept well. The location is also excellent — it's very close to the Sanggu Food Street and surrounded by plenty of snack shops. It's also near the Wuyi Palace scenic area.
The guesthouse owner was very hospitable. In addition to offering free high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off service, he also arranged for Mr. You to drive us to the bamboo raft center, and even helped us book the bamboo rafting, the scenic shuttle bus, and tickets for the Impression Dahongpao show. It saved us a lot of trouble — so thoughtful!
Overall, it’s a fantastic experience in Wuyishan, with the stay in the hotel of great value for money and services. Highly recommended and hope to come back one day.
