Tui Blue Adriatic Beach

All inclusive adults only feature was great! No kids so it was quiet. Free food and drinks and select alcoholic beverages. View from our swim up pool was amazing! However our pool was full of mildew and mold. We were celebrating our anniversary so I booked the couples soirée which included dinner by the beach in a private day bed. It was perfect until we got interrupted by some local teenagers trespassing since it’s not a closed in area from the public. Which I reported to the front desk but was not offered any compensation which was disappointing since it was 120 euro booking. We also booked the couples relax which included a 25 minute massage which was wonderful but not long enough for 130 euro but came with a cocktail and snacks which we did not receive but no biggie. It also came with a Bali bed by the pool. Other than that it’s a beautiful resort. Just need some touching up and cleaning the swimup pools then it’d be perfect.

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our 60th birthday with a bit of luxury and I wanted to return to the Balkans after serving there in the 90s following the war so we booked a 10 day holiday in June 2022 for summer 23 flying out on 28th July to Split and at TUI Blue Adriatic Beach in Croatia, because we wanted something special we decided to upgrade to a Swim up Pool room so we didn’t have to compete in the sun bed competition every morning! Unfortunately and 10 months later on 13th April 2023 we received an email which stated: “We have been advised that the room you have booked can no longer be offered during your stay. We understand that a change like this is disappointing, and we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. When we are no longer able to offer a particular room, we’ll always look to find an alternative which is as similar to your original choice and therefore have secured you a Junior Suite with Sea View and Balcony or Terrace. Please kindly check our website for more information on what is included in this room type to ensure that this alternative room will be acceptable to you”. As you can see there was no explanation as to why and despite contacting TUI directly both through email and phone they were unable to provide me with a reason, I also contacted the hotel directly and they blamed TUI but when I went back to TUI with this information they still failed to confirm why the room had been cancelled. The hotel has an app so I started communicating through that and to my surprise we weren’t alone, and while at the resort we established it was common and I am aware of at least another 6 couples celebrating occasions who had their rooms cancelled! There are 24 swim up rooms which were all fully functional though many were unoccupied and what we discovered was that they were being rented out daily at a cost of 125€ (£107) which was approximately £42 a night more than I and others had paid in 2022 when we booked our holidays. As we know prices increased significantly during the period June 22 to Summer 23 and TUI obviously saw an opportunity to profiteer, if TUI cancelled all 24 rooms booked in 2022 at a cost of £65 a night and charged £107 in Summer 23 they would have seen an increased profitability of over £31k each month over customer service and loyalty! TUI did say that we could change our hotel and destination, but because they cancelled the rooms so close to the actual start we were unable to find anything remotely suitable for the price we paid when we booked in June 2022 and we were told that the same cancellation rules applied so we would have been significantly out of pocket through their greed! All we all want is for TUI to inform us why they cancelled the rooms people had booked well in advance in good faith. The food was very repetitive so we ate out a could of times which is disappointing when it’s all inclusive, overall we were very disappointed and we absolutely wouldn’t recommend or return to

Visited at beginning of October and our first visit to Croatia. Travelled on a TUI holiday with flights by easyJet from Luton. Delayed 24 hours due to severe storm but easyJet did there best and put us up overnight eventually. Hotel is a fair distance (140mins) from airport which (Split) is probably the cleanest I have ever seen. It is set at the base of a mountain and most rooms inc ours had a perfect sea view. Totally spotless, clean and modern with spacious rooms. Beach is spotlessly clean but pebbly and the sea warm and crystal clear. No problems getting sun beds but sometimes a queue at the pool bar as the beach bar was not open. Food generally good with plenty of choice and variety. Maybe a little more salad choice in comparison to Turkish or Greek hotels if was being highly critical. Expected a little more from the Mojito bar which was really just a standard bar and the mojitos and cocktails were ok as was the beer. Evening entertainment was mainly singers which were ok but more background rather than entertainment. After losing a day to delays we didn’t do any trips other than go to Makarska which is equally stunning. All in all a good first trip to Croatia and will go back at some point.

Me and my partner visited in May 2023 for 10 nights and had a great stay. The location is absolutely stunning! Sitting on the balcony in the evenings watching the sunset and spotting dolphins is something I will never forget. The hotel was impeccably clean and had great facilities. We were a big fan of the cocktails, especially the pina coladas! Also loved the iced coffees! The food was tasty and varied. We weren't blown away with the entertainment but that is just a personal preference. If we were to ever return to Croatia (which we hope to one day!) we would certainly stay at this hotel again.

A lovely hotel . Very nice friendly staff Nice spacious room . Good air con .and a great rain shower. Great views . Pebble beach ( but nice) with an all day bar on the beach with lovely staff . Now to food .. amazing .. best A/I food ive had in a long while !! . The pastries. Well !! Amazing!! .. loved the country. The hotel and the staff . Thanks x

We are on our final day of our holiday at Adriatic Beach and feeling genuinely sad to be leaving. There are reviews on here that bemoan “so many steps”, “repetitive food”, “no a**osphere”. Please take no notice of these ignorant reviews. It’s very clear when booking that this hotel is built into a hill, which clearly implies there’s going to be various levels with, unsurprisingly, a lot of stairs. So to then complain about it in a review is ridiculous. The setting of the hotel is beautiful, with a different view at every turn and step. The food has been varied and fresh each day, full of flavour and well catered for people with dietary restrictions. The bars are well stocked with a good range of local wines and beers. The hot tub is hot despite a review saying it wasn’t. We loved it. The staff have been exceptional. Friendly, welcoming and warm. I’d like to give personal praise to Ivan in the Pool Bar, and the lovely sisters from Argentina, Martina and Delfina, who have made mealtimes a delight. It’s not easy to remember the names of guests considering how many people they must meet, but they would always greet us by our first names. A lovely touch. We were so impressed with this place that within less than 24 hours after arriving, we’ve rebooked for next year. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

What can I say for me the best hotel I have stayed in, the staff are so helpful and kind the food was amazing thank you to the chef and staff thank you to ivica and his staff on the wine tasting was very interesting. I will be going back. Thank you Ian

We are at the hotel now and cannot fault it so far. Rooms, meals, staff are all lovely. Yes there are quite a few steps to the pool/beach but we made sure we were on the lowest floor as my husband's knee was quite painful. To be honest he doesn't find it too bad as they are wide steps and not steep. Beautiful scenery all round. Negative comments can be helpful but they are personal views. Life is what you make it 😊

The transfer from airport is minimum 90 minutes.The hotel is isolated,no nearby shops,cafes etc Hotel is very nice and rooms are clean and comfortable with excellent showers.There are many steps to get to poolside or beach from reception area, easily 200+ a day with just two trips up and down.I am fairly fit and had little problem but those steps were brutal for more elderly people and should have been more highlighted by Tui.The lounges are lovely, clean with comfortable seating and the views and sunsets are brilliant. The poolside bar is not what you would expect from all inclusive, no hot food,limited cold wraps,no free ice cream and poor quality soft drinks.The pool is large and clean but the request not to reserve sunbeds is ignored and not enforced,annoying when you see beds unused for hours and you can't find one.The restaurant is airy,bright,great views but the food repetitive and bland,no curries,roast joints etc,if you like pork and chicken done a hundred different ways then you will be fine,breakfast was always our best meal.Soups were at times very good and the sweet counter was also decent.The restaurant staff ranged from mostly excellent to a few abysmal characters who I feel will be ****ed out fairly soon as the hotel had only been reopened for a few weeks.Good entertainment in the evenings, mainly trios or quartets of musicians/singers.The beach is pebbly,and you have to navigate many unsafe boulders before being able to swim,you need sand shoes definitely, we saw a lot of people lose their footing and fall just trying to get in the water.Avoid the trip to Dubrovnik, its a 3 hour coach trip there,3 hours to rush around and then 3 hours back on the coach at a cost of over 80 euros each,scandalous. The transfer,steps and food are the main critical points I would make,the vast majority of staff,pleasant ,helpful and friendly but the steps aargh.
