We were there with my husband and 3 yrs old daughter, there was activity by the little pool from 10 to 1300 in the morning
The beach sun launches were charged, not sure why it is , it’s 30 minutes walk to closest town
We used the glasses in the room and despite coming to the room to clean they never replaced them which was annoying

It was our first visit to Malinska and Blue Waves Resort and only 7 days were enough to fall in love with this place :) Thanks to the professional stuff, great and tasteful food - to be honest it was like a mom's cuisine (and more than friendly chefs - Amir and colleagues) we spent an amazing time here and will be back as soon as possible! We truly recommend this Resort whether you are visiting as a couple or with children. There are clean pools or if you prefer beach it is in front of Resort with a path along to the center of Malinska so you can swim, walk or have an early jogging - whatever you find pleasant at your holiday. So fill free to visit Blue Waves Resort, visit Malinska and create your great holiday!

This hotel was a brilliant pick for our getaway. Nicest always wearing a smile staff. Nice rooms with sea view. Good choice of swimming pools (also heated indoors). Location on the beach. This time of year, they have only opened, so not crowded and felt even more special. Spa and relax zone was superb, three different types of sauna and the massage we took was amazing. I would recommend in all aspects, they really make you feel wellcomed.

Elevator did not work.
A lot of steep stares to navigate , specially for my 72 year old mother.Lay out of resort is very confusing, a lot of dead ends , amenities are not easy accessible.Restaurant open for breakfast and diner only and closes early , 9pm.

Very nice hotel. Great rooms. Only disappointment was the pool. No pool staff so all other guests left towels at the pool beds at 8 in the morning and did not use the bed before in the afternoon. This was against hotel rules but no staff did anything. Because of that we could not get any pool beds - one day there were only 3 people at the pool and no space for us…

Il resort è dotato anche di un chiosco che vende gelati con annessa a lato una piccolissima spiaggia privata. Appena arrivato in paese ed al primo accesso alla spiaggia, stavo cercando un chiosco che vendesse anche altri generi alimentari, oltre ai gelati. Nella mia innocua intenzione, sono salito per sbaglio sul gradino della spiaggia privata per controllare se di lato al chiosco c'era una locandina o una lavagnetta con un menù. Per sbaglio ho leggermente invaso la spiaggia privata. Mi si è subito presentato davanti, in modo poco gentile, un ragazzo dello staff che mi ha chiesto cosa stavo facendo e io gli ho spiegato che ero appena arrivato e non conoscevo il posto. Invece di comunicarmi educatamente che avevo invaso uno spazio privato, ha continuato a chiedermi cosa volevo, facendomi sentire quasi un delinquente. In seguito, ho visto il cartello che indicava la spiaggia privata e allora ho capito quale era il problema. Io credo che, per lavori a contatto col pubblico, servano persone adeguate. Mi dispiace per i titolari e per i clienti perché, quasi sempre, chi fa il prepotente con le persone innocue, poi risulta inadeguato di fronte ad un problema reale. Mi sono sentito trattare come un delinquente.

De kamer en badkamer waren ruim genoeg. Het personeel was vriendelijk (vooral de dame bij de poolbar!) en er was parkeergelegenheid (tegen betaling) bij het hotel. Er is ook een gratis parkeerplaats maar die stond continu vol. Ligging is vlak aan het strand en met 30 minuten lopen langs de zee ben je in Malinska. Het ontbijt en avondeten vonden wij matig. De hele accommodatie heeft een hoog kruip-door, sluip-door gehalte. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding vonden wij ook minder. Laat ik het zo zeggen: wij hadden er iets meer van verwacht!

Im großen und ganzen ist das Hotel sehr gut! Müsste aber hier und da so langsam Renoviert werden, damit kein Renovierungsstau entsteht. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und hatten immer ein offenes Ohr. Frühstück (wir hatten nur mit Frühstück gebucht) war für die Nachsaison noch sehr ausreichend und auch hier das Personal sehr aufmerksam und fleißig. Leider war die Hotelbar nur bis 22 Uhr geöffnet, somit konnten wir uns nur einmal einen Abend Drink genehmigen. Wer ein Zimmer mit Balkon buchen möchte, sollte bei der Buchung sehr speziell danach fragen! Und am besten direkt über das Hotel buchen. Das hatten wir leider nicht gemacht und bekamen ein Zimmer ohne Balkon mit Aussicht auf den Parkplatz. Aber dafür konnte das Hotel nichts, da wir über ein sehr großes Portal gebucht haben und hier die Angabe etwas irreführend war. Aber wie gesagt, das Personal war sehr bemüht konnten uns aber leider kein anderes Zimmer geben, weil das Hotel voll ausgebucht war.
