Shilo Inn Yuma is conveniently located with lots of restaurants within walking distance (200-300 meters). One thing to consider in booking this hotel is that they do not have breakfast. There is what is considered a "mall" adjacent to the hotel but it is outdoors and filled with chain retail establishments and nothing unique. Easy to get to, just off Interstate 8, but you don't hear any highway noise. The hotel is old (I stayed here back in the 1980's) and sometimes it feels that way. Room has the amenities that you need. TV worked but didn't have a lot of channels and it was stuck on an aspect ratio that cut half the picture. The pool was nice but there are a lot of birds in the area and they tend to leave their mark everywhere (especially the deck chairs). They try to keep it clean but those birds are persistent. The staff is friendly and helpful. One thing I noticed and appreciated was the daily room servicing. Many hotels have stopped daily service so it was nice to get towels, the bed made, trash removal, etc. everyday.

Everything was fine and we appreciate the effort made to change our stay date but we booked the hotel hoping to spend time at the very nice pool area but pool was closed. A guest told us it has been closed for six months as they live in the area. That should have been disclosed up front. Otherwise we slept well.

The toilet was broken, the wall paper coming off the walls, carpet old and musty the coffee and Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired

Very old, run down property. Bed was bad, air conditioner sounded like a freight train in the room, wallpaper peeling, only 2 towels in entire room. Would NEVER recommend this property to anyone!

The continental breakfast was just muffins and coffee nothing else and some of the coffee carafe were cold

Walking distance to an open mall and restaurants. Rooms were clean and contained all amenities. Pool was big and clean

For a quick overnight stay, this place works just fine. However she is showing her age; the toilet seat came completely detached from the toilet in the middle of the night… Not a great surprise to get in the dark
The young gentleman at the front desk was very nice and professional. The room appeared to be hastily cleaned but not to the point of being gross

Nothing was unique! No breakfast area! Breakfast was dismal! No selection for muffins with few left, only 2 power bars left for 4 of us, coffee and that was it!!! No Kleenex in rooms, sheets are cheap, damaged doors! Low value for the money! Will not return and would not recommend this hotel!!!
