This hotel inside the hongcun village was great! They helped me with a ride from the entrance and back to the station even when I booked it very last minute the same day. The room was very comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities I needed. The location is amazing, just by the moon pond, very centric to everything inside the village. Definitely recommend this place to stay during your time in hongcun!

The best hotel and service that i have stayed at in China. They met us at the village ticket entry point to guide us and help us with our luggages. While we were checking in, they delivered our luggages to the room. After checking in at the front desk they walk us to our room and provide us with a tray of their local delicacies for teabreak. They provided great advice on where to walk, visit and eat. They went the extra mile to help us with our laundry and also move our laundry from the washer to the dryer. This is an added service which we were not expecting and really appreciate after a tiring long day on Hiangshan mountain. The 2 ladies at the front desk are the best👍👍 Finally on the day of checking out, it was quick and easy and they helped us with bringing our luggages from the upper to the ground floor. Note there is no lift in the hotel too. This is a must stay hotel if you are looking for great service, amenities, and help/guidance.

This place is located within Hongcun ancient city and you will need to purchase the pass to reach the place . The pass is valid for three days. The place was quint and for a traveler looking for an local experience this will be the place with a nice yard and standard chinese home built with wood. The stay would have been more comfortable with better heating facilities. The room was extremely cold even with two heaters being used. It was almost impossible to use the bathroom as there was no heating facilities in the bathroom. Ironically the comforter was the one that provided some comfort in this cold weather as temperatures varied greatly during the morning and night. The boss was pretty nice though, he was a quiet person that spoke very little to guests. However, if you made any request with him, he will not only accommodate it but will value add by taking his initiative to make things as convenient as possible for you. I have personally experienced this and it was a pleasant surprise. The boss took the initiative to arrange for me to reach my next hotel destination right up to its doorstep although I did not expect him to do so. Very much appreciated him for his thoughtfulness. Overall experience of the stay was acceptable, if the room had better heating facilities this would have definitely enhance the comfort of the stay greatly for the traveler.

The couple running it are very frienfly and helpful. The parents are very nice too especially the grandpa is excited to pose photos with us. Location wise is not too far from the big tree and yet quiet enough from the crowd. Overall ambience is quite unique living in an ancient home.

客棧靠近村口大樹，有行李的話可以往西門北面的靠近村口大樹，否則西門進要走石板路，不好拖箱子。村口大樹小廣場上謝裕大茶行門口巷子第一個路口右拐第一個路口左拐即可到達，一分鐘吧。客棧出來兩分鐘到西門，過橋就好多吃的，有古茗，夜裡還有燒烤。客棧商業主街後一條，位置好，卻又安靜。老闆挺好的，我們去了主門西門 老闆還來接我們給我們帶路。雖然是客棧，打掃挺乾淨的，我們住二樓也秋冬也不潮濕，洗手間不是乾濕分離，在民宿中算挺大的。總體還是非常適合旅遊時候住住，可以早起錯層，感受皖南村落靜謐的美。

The hotel is wonderful, so neat and of fantastic value!! I love the location and aesthetic of the hotel. Restaurant seemed extremely cute. The workers and receptionist are super friendly and tend to all needs!
