Fiesta Americana Hacienda San Antonio El Puente Resort & Spa

An absolute gem of a hotel with incredible facilities. We came for a wedding at the chapel, but the entire grounds felt like a paradise. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the service was efficient and friendly. Cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for a bit of luxury in Cuernavaca.

We stayed a total of 4 nights.  The first 2 nights, the hotel had very few people, the last 2 nights it seemed almost full.  It is more of a weekend hotel. The grounds are truly beautiful, from the reception area to the restaurant and gardens, beautiful!  Be aware:  1. Most of the photos on their website are of the rooms in the original Hacienda.  We rented a Master suite (600ft @ MX$ 5,930 - MX$6,029 depending on the day ).  On their website the walls are exposed brick and period furniture.  We received a room in the new section, on the 1st floor and right in front of the pool.  Yes, you can hear all the noise from the pool and even when people are walking on the 2nd floor/corridors.  The suite was indeed 600ft, but NOT in one big room.  It was 2 separate rooms.  You walk  thru this empty room (except for a sofa and tv on the wall, see photo) via a long hallway and get to the main room.  It was not like the photo at all.  The room does not have a desk or robes.  Nor accent chairs (like the photo).  It comes with 2 dining room chairs, a small table.  Nothing like their photos. More like a "Springhill Suites" style sofa.  Do yourself a favor and rent a CHEAPER / SMALLER room in the original part of the Hacienda. 2.  Find someone who speaks spanish to call and make the reservations.  The rates will be much cheaper if you call directly vs reserving thru their website if outside of Mexico.

We attended a wedding here. The facility is truly amazing. There are loads of photos online. None do them justice. Best room is 258. Great balcony! Regift staff was phenomenal. So service minded and on top of it. We have there nights of events. Culminating with wedding on Saturday @3. Cocktails after and then a Devine dinner and dancing. A mariachi band led us from cocktails to venue. The music from the DJ was really the best. Everyone was on the dance floor. At 11 pm another mariachi And came and played until 3am for more Dancing. Tacos at midnight. Our server was Derek. He was amazingly attentive to everyone all night. He should get huge kudos from Management! Breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday were over the top awesome. Everything!

This is an absolutely gorgeous location, and the hotel is impeccable. The rooms were large well appointed, and the restaurants within the hotel premises were outstanding. We came for a wedding, and I must say that the set up for that event was breathtaking. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in central Mexico for sure. The staff were always smiling and truly cared for the well-being of the guests.an unforgettable experience.

We. celebrated our anniversary at San Antonio and it was perfect. The gardens and grounds are exquisite and the service outstanding. Our dinner and wine selection was very good as well. As limited Spanish speakers, we appreciated that there was always staff who spoke excellent English. Thiss is more than a destination, it is an experience not to be missed.

I stayed at the Fiesta Americana Hacienda San Antonio El Puente Cuernavaca for a wedding in October 2023. I am supremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. For starters, their online booking system is a nightmare. Second and most importantly, when we arrived the staff let us know we had two rooms booked for the same night, one in my name and one in my husband's name, both under my credit card. Obviously this was their doing as my husband NEVER created a second reservation, no less he would NEVER use my credit card. I kindly told the staff that this wasn't possible, that I never booked a second room for the same night, and would like to cancel this. To which they said that their cancellation policy requires that you give them 3 days notice, so they could not cancel nor refund me. How was I meant to know about the two rooms 3 days in advance, given that I never made two reservations??? We went back and forth, but they would not budge. They REFUSED to refund me even though THIS WAS NOT MY DOING! So now, I had to pay twice!!!!! What's more, they made me feel like they would handle it by the end, and NEVER told me they would actually go through with the second charge. But low and behold, my credit card statement shows charges for two rooms on the same night. Outside of this egregious experience, the rooms are just okay. We blew a fuse the first night with the hair dryer, and weren't provided robes. For the price you pay these small details go noticed. Finally, to top the experience off, we were coming back to the hacienda in the wee hours of the night after the wedding and the doors were shut and locked. We tried knocking as we heard rustling behind the door but the staff did not let us in, saying we were rude for knocking! How else were we meant to be let in?! Eventually after telling them we had kids with us, they let us in, but not after at least 10 minutes of deliberation. Overall, this experience was absolutely the WORST part about our stay in Mexico. Everything else was really great - but sadly this has tainted our experience and I can definitely say I will never return to a Fiesta Americana again.

We attend as a family with our pet and it was a very nice experience to find out that my dog was able to walk around the hotel without restrictions. Our dog was welcome even at the restaurant. Dogs are not allowed to swim in the pool but are welcome to be around it. The personnel is excellent and very helpful.

The place is beautiful with its gardens and buildings. Super clean and the food is amazingly good. Everything is cooked and baked in the premises. We stayed a fortnight and did not leave the hacienda. Marvellous place to relax. Will be back.

We have 4 dogs, All are rescued and we love dogs. The hotel allows dogs and normally that is not an issue. In room 243 for 3 hours a dog has been barking and scratching at the door. We are in room 242. Twice my wife called the front desk. She speaks Spanish. They did nothing. I went to the front desk after nearly 3 hours. They were not smart enough to call the person booked in room. 243. They were not smart enough to go to the outdoor movie and asked if anyone was there from room 243 when the movie was still playing. All dog owners should read and sign the conditions for having a dog on the property and one of the requirements is a dog is not to be left alone in a room. I have a 20 second video but not allowed to up load here. We checked out a day early with no credit for doing so. When checking out another couple were compelling the room was dirty, torn curtains, mosquitos and not the upgrade they paid for. It is a long weekend and there are few guests where as at one time this hotel would be packed. Sadly, this was a major employer for the small community but obviously less so now. There are several other negative reviews. It is time for some major changes in the management of this hotel.
