Loved our room (Cheddar) and had excellent service at check-in and checkout. The food and service for dinner and breakfast were top-notch as well. We would stay here again anytime!

honestly, we didn’t know what to expect when we checked in, but it was one of the best place we’ve stayed . absolutely brilliant Service food in the restaurant couldn’t get enough of it was brilliant

Great service, friendly staff, fantastic meal. Not sure how to answer eco question, was guessing it was OK or better, same as rest of stay.

Stayed overnight prior to taking a flight from Bristol Airport. Nothing to complain about. Lots of food on the Sunday roast.

Great location, 15 min to airport, comfortable warm rooms and lovely breakfast.

To be perfectly honest when we first arrived we felt duped. The picture shows a quiet village pub. No the road outside the pub was horrendous. Extremely busy fair enough it was close to the airport. When we arrived we tried to book in the first person said go over there where we spoke to someone else who passed us off to another member of staff. So we checked in and i has already paid for the room and the young man made me sign a piece of paper put in our car reg. Then he said can i have your bank card please (bearing in mind its not a 5 star hotel its a pub!) I asked why do you need that i have paid , he replied we always take a card in case there is any damages to the room. I am horrified now what kind of people check in here if they have damages. We were just a couple no children. It immediately put me off the place.( there is a review further back about a drunken lady gaining access to someone elses room) xard on account payments are normally if you want to use the restraunt or bar. Which you can refuse. I gave him the card but i was very anxious then of were ever i was staying. We were then shoen to the room we booked and tes the room looked nice but there was nothing special about it however it was overlooking the busy road. All you could here was the noisy traffic with boomboomboom from the car radios My husband asked if there was a quieter room the boy said he wouldho and find out. We looked at the room better and decided to go downstairs to see if they had a better

Amazing hotel to stay at all the staff were extremely friendly we were here for a night and ate in the restaurant food was amazing will definitely stay again as we have just booked again for december

All staff were friendly and food excellent and Breakfast was great, you free bottled water in room each day

Great British produce, locally sourced and expertly cooked. Helpful, friendly team of staff. The building is grade listed but lots of character with traditional looking but modern furniture. No aircon in my room and WiFi was twitchy but comfy, clean with beautiful furniture. Cracking beer garden,large and rustic set next to the local river and walking routes.
