The hotel and bedroom looks tired and in need of work the paint around the window was peeling off (room14)

I would defo stay here again, a quick internet search found the fairway hotel, easy to book online, on arrival staff were lovely, had a great evening meal of steak and ale pie with home made chips, and sirloin steak with chips, lovely. Staff and room was excellent, couldn’t fault it from start to finish, defo recommend it to anyone looking to book

We booked for two nights, but as the bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in we didnt stay for the second night.
We went for a meal and arrived back at the hotel at 22.10, the bar was closed. A bottle of water in the vending machine was £2.40!!! Never again

Ok value for money these days, wasn’t expecting the Ritz. Comfortable bed, TV was a little small but ok. Bathroom could do with modernising & floor was quite creaky.

Staff were really friendly but room seemed a bit empty compared to the photo. No cushions on the bed but plenty of towels and a very comfy bed with lots of pillows. Parking was excellent and check in was easy. The food in the restaurant next door was very good and the staff were great. I really enjoyed my meal!
Great for the price, will be back next time I’m in Barnsley.
