Very bad experience. Broke into my vehicle that was parked inside there parking area. All my camping gear was stolen. No security cameras. Reported to the Hotel management. Was there a week later to follow up regarding my claim. Until today no feedback. Will not recommend.
The hotel staff was very nice and helpul. Delano is the guy to talk to! I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Skybar, nice view. Colin was the nice porter that helped me with my luggage when I checked in. Very helpful! I strongly advice you to try this hotel experience in Windhoek.
My stay at Safari Court Hotel Managed by Accor was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel's elegant design, combined with its top-notch amenities, made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The attentive and courteous staff catered to my every need, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible.
Checked in to the Newly renovated Mercure Winhoek, checked in with a business partner who stayed at Movenpick and I had the priviledge to stay at Mercure. I was checked in by Jessica, cool calm and collected lady. Check in went perfectly fine, rooms are clean and well maintained by the property.

We chose the chalets, and they were fabulous. Beds comfy. Quiet. Nice seating outside and even a barbecue. But we chose the dinner delivery option, which worked well. Pool area very nice too, alas freezing cold water at the time of the year. Could have done a second night here.
Aautumn titaniumThis place is a gem - convenient location in a safe/quiet neighborhood close to the city centre, clean and spacious room with kitchen and cooking utensils, free and secured parking, helpful and friendly owner, affordable rates. The place has no reception counter. To check-in, the guest has to arrange with the owner via phone or email prior to arrival. As I was on a long flight and I had no phone/data roaming in Namibia, I didn't see the owner's email and I was stuck outside the place without a way to get in. Luckily I drove to a nearby hotel and borrowed the phone to call the owner, and the owner (who actually lives elsewhere) came to open the door for me within 10-15 minutes. Next time if I come here again, I should contact the owner 1 day before arrival, so that the owner knows my arrival time and sends me the check-in instructions in time.
NnickiBHThe whole hotel has the theme of winery…each building was named under a wine. The outlook didn’t seem to be too appealing for me. Reception closed at 7pm when we arrived…..too bad for the two of us (both adults) sharing the room , we were given only one key (even we requested, porter said receptionist left already….very inconvenient because u need the key card to open the electric back gate to go to the restaurant and return ! The receptionist wasn’t friendly, in fact very very rude to customers…..the worst in our whole trip in Namibia (consider this hotel being either the first stop or the last stop of the trip in this country….she ruined either a good first impression of the country, or the fond memories we had collected during our trip here!!!) WiFi was strong. Room was spacious enough with a small patio outdoors (ground floor rooms). There were 6 USB chargers which were really handy. However, the toilet seat cover kept falling on our back when we sat on it, and that was very annoying and not hygienic (room Merlot M2)! Breakfast and dinner were in the restaurant Stellenbosch across the road (using room card to unlock back gate). Breakfast (our day was a la carte) was ok….a bit slow….guess it would be nicer if we had come on a day with buffet BF. Dinner was very so so….the fried calamari was the only tasty dish… the main we ordered was Hake…which came out to be just fish and chips …and the mango dessert was missing mango….so most of us were quite disappointed.
ผผู้เข้าพักHighly recommend Hillside. Excellent staff especially Cliffort, helpfull and friendly. He went out of his way to assist us in the rainy weather, you are appreciated. Arranged a shuttle for us from our training centre to the accomodation.
As a local who travelled back to my home country before looking for something more permanent. I booked a stay at Kate's nest. The facilities were decent, well kept and the staff were amazing. The guesthouse is conveniently located close to several amenities as well as a short drive to central town and malls. The only issue, was either fellow traveller's that would not clean up after themselves: especially in the kitchen. Otherwise, I had a fantastic short stay at Kate's, I would definitely recommend them.
