Fliegerdeich Hotel & Restaurant

I stayed at the Fliegerdeich in December 2023. I was super excited from looking at their website and the way they presented the hotel as a boutique hotel experience. Overall, I can only say my stay has been met with mixed emotions. The hotel only has 13 rooms, which of course makes it boutique, but with that should come the extra service and quality that one would expect. However here were quite a few things missing... The room was nice enough, however in most parts not very practical. Power sockets are hidden or cannot be access due to the design of the bedside tables. Lighting was weird, the lighting in the bathroom was flickering. Additionally the rooms are not super in terms of acoustics, as this is some type of building conversation, I could hear the room above with every step of their move. It felt like they were walking on high heels or crutches. Not a fan of that when staying in a high price hotel. One night I asked if there is room service for food from the restaurant, the answer was "we dont normally do this, but as an exception we can do it" making me feel guilty for even asking... Strange, when there is just 13 rooms and I heard only half an hour before I ask my room neighbour receiving a food delivery. It would be great if the hotel either provides this service, or they simply dont, but dont make your guest feel guilty for even asking, thats how it felt. Then the breakfast, again, I appreciate it is just for 13 rooms, however when you state that breakfast starts at 7, it should be ready at 7. I arrived at 7.45 and it was not all ready. No eggs, no bacon, no sausages. And no idea that you can ask for extras to be served at the table. Bit awkward again. Then, the restaurant needs a proper clean under the tables. Not sure if its due to the table legs, that big parts get missed, but it didn't match with the price tag and boutique status they are trying to establish here. Apart from that, the restaurant food was okay, but nothing to rave about with this price tag. Of course the hotel is in a super unique position and all rooms have some form of water view, but the hotel shouldn't rest on this fact and get the service side on the same level. Also as mentioned earlier, some of the quirks of the bedrooms should be ironed out. I am glad I arrived during the colder period, cause some guests in the hotter periods complained about the non-existinent air con. So to be honest, I am not sure if I would return. Maybe thats the plan for the hotel operators, as 13 rooms are easily filled up in any case? I am not sure, thats why "mixed emotions" sums it up perfectly.

The hotel is just fantastic! The rooms are spacious, clean and very trendy with a balcony with sea view. But a special thanks belongs to the super friendly staff (especially Carmen, who is very helpful in a very lovely way).

very nice hotel , the rooms are mega nice . The concept of the hotel is 100% real . the people who works the are very kind and helpfull . the vieuw is nice on both site's . when i would have the chance to go back directly i will do

Hervoraged, super nettes Personal, super Frühstück, Abendessen, schöne Zimmer

Ein Superservice mit einem rundum entspannten, hilfsbereiten und humorvollen Team, das uns die Flittertage zu einem echten Highlight gemacht hat! Frühstück, Abendessen und Zimmer waren auch einfach klasse!!! Und der Südstrand bietet viele Gelegenheiten für Ausflüge nach Bremen, Bremerhaven, Oldenburg etc. Wir kommen wieder!

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Hotel. Super personal sehr freundlich tolles essen. und die Lage könnte besser nicht sein so nah am Wattenmeer mit Blick aufs Wasser . Wer Die Nordsee liebt wird sich hier wohlfühlen auch die Kissen sind super angenehm.

Die Aussicht aufs Meer und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter haben uns supergut gefallen. Ach ja, das Frühstück war auch ausgezeichnet. Wir können das Hotel für eine Übernachtung in Wilhelmshaven auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Interessante Ziele sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Heel leuk ingericht hotel. Leuke kamers, met een heel goed bed. 's Morgens kan je genieten van een uitgebreid ontbijt. Er is parkeermogelijkheid dichtbij het hotel, wel te regelen via het hotel zelf. Heel goed restaurant om 's avonds te eten. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk.

Wir waren als Paar mit Hund für 4 Nächte im Fliegerdeich und sind begeistert. Diese freundlichen Mitarbeiter die einen schon beim Einchecken empfangen, jederzeit für Fragen parat stehen, einem Ausflugsziele empfehlen und anschließend nachfragen, wie der Tag war. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Unser Hund wurde sehr freundlich aufgenommen und durfte überall dabei sein. Die Zimmer, sowie der gesamte öffentliche Bereich sind passend zum Motto dekoriert. Wenn man mit offenen Augen spaziert sieht man so viele Details, die einfach stimmen: vom Flugzeug-Bobbycar für die Kleinen, bis zu den Bildern oder der Deko. Die Einrichtung geht in Richtung Industrial, was uns super gefallen hat: grau, Metall, Holz, passt. Das Hotel ist klein und familiär. Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr ausgewählt und qualitativ hochwertig inkl aller Kaffeespezialitäten! Es stehen keine Unmengen in der Eisbox, aber es wird sofort nachgefüllt, wenn sich etwas dem Ende neigt. Der Blick geht auf regional und nachhaltig. Die Karamellcreme, die Brötchen und der Streichkäse waren unsere Favoriten. Auch der hoteleigene Duft ist toll. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß mit Platz für Hund, Balkon mit Meeresblick und passend eingerichtet. Alles in allem können wir das Hotel sehr empfehlen.
