The staff was exceptional. They were very kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was the perfect start to the day with hot and cold options. Again the staff kept everything well stocked, clean, delicious and with a smile. The grounds were clean with plenty of parking. Rooms were clean and made up each day upon request. I would definately book here again. Thank you for a great visit.

First the good
Staff was excellent. The woman that checked us in on Thursday night (can't remember her name) was very nice and helped us find a restaurant (Volios). Also on Saturday night, I accidentally left a rolling camera bag full of gear by my car. I was in a panic the next day as I was preparing to check out and could not find it. Someone on staff had found it and turned it in (Thank You!!!). Shower water temp is very hot. Good at the end of a long day.
A very nice woman works in the kitchen who kept smiling even as she had to clean up after messy hotel guests.
Here are some things that could be better:
Shower pressure was not great,
If you are a light sleeper, try to avoid rooms 101, 103, 105, and 107. They are next to the gas station and you will hear some interesting sounds late at night.
Walls are thin and sound travels. it would be a good idea to enforce a low-noise after 10:00 p.m.
I chose the hotel to avoid staying in New Orleans proper. even being across the river, it was close enough to the places we visited.

When we first arrived, we noticed that the sheets and thin blanket on the bed were visibly soiled. We asked for replacements, and those were dirty as well. Ended up going to Walmart and purchasing sheets and a comforter for our stay to feel comfortable. Hotel was nice and quiet but lots of broken items in the room, i.e. work desk and mini fridge. The hotel also has a roach problem as we saw a number of them during our stay. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Just pay the extra money and go somewhere else!!

The hotel had a musty smell and there’s no stairs. That was a strike against it. Having to lug luggage up fflights of stairs is horrible.

All of the hotel employees I spoke with were very kind. My only real complaint about the hotel is that you can hear EVERYTHING from the neighbors on both sides & above you if you’re on the low level. It’s like the walls are made of tissue paper. I wouldn’t stay here again just because of that.
