the servicing of the room was excellent but there are a couple of impractical issues with the fridge door and the microwave door opening the wrong way making it hard to use them.

Everything about the room is perfect! The owner gave us the welcome gift of buttery biscuits and milk. They are so delicious. The little patio is so beautiful. We strongly recommend this motel to anyone who travels to Westport, New Zealand.

A really clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay in Westport. The receptionist was welcoming and gave great local recommendations. Unit was warm and well equipped. Everything worked. It's well maintained and good value for money. Would stay again.

The bathroom in the handicapped unit had a bad odor and we didn't like the noise from the people walking around upstairs. We also could hear traffic outside-single glazed windows were installed. However, at least the room was clean. I've booked through ******* - and we will never do it again. Due to unforseen circumstances (and my health), we stayed only 1 night and yet the owner He said that we had to pay for all 3 nights and said that ******* had our details and would come after us., blah, blah, blah. We were too tired to argue. Never again will we ever go through a middle-man and/or stay at this motel. We will not recommend this motel to anyone. What a SCAM!!

The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, a nice roomy size and had a great little kitchenette. The kitchen and bathroom were generously stocked with plenty of sugar sachets, drinks sachets, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and cleaning materials. The outdoor balcony/patio area was lovely - so nice to be able to sit outside in private and enjoy the greenery in the little garden area. The complimentary shortbread was perfectly timed after a long and tiring day - went well with a nice coffee.
