My wife and I stayed here two nights and we loved this place. What stood out for us was the friendliness of the Polish staff. Two young girls and a a young guy were so friendly and helpful with travel tips. We were made to feel so welcome. Our room was very comfy, probably the best room we stayed in whilst in Iceland. We looked out over the water which was great. The dinners were really good but breakfast was pretty much the same you get everywhere in Iceland. What was really handy too was the free self service pressure washer and petrol station adjoining the property. After being on Iceland's dirt roads it was great to wash the hire car. Thanks very much Flokalundur!!

This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at.
Hotel was clean, staff were friendly, and the rooms were modern and beautiful.
Highly recommend for anyone.

The checkout time in my ********** booking clearly states a checkout time of 12pm. The staff unlocked my door and came into my room just after 11am WHILE I WAS FULLY NAKED and asked me to leave, claiming the checkout time was 11am. The hotel needs to sort out their checkout time!

Because of a road closure we needed to check in 30 minutes late. A quick phone call resulted in their staying open for us. Great service, lovely room and a super breakfast the next morning. I highly recommend Hotel Flokanlundur.

Very convenient locations if visiting the west fjords for a day and leaving the area the next morning. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Clean up to date room. On site restaurant was good and about the only option in the area.

The staff are friendly. The room is very good, actually very surprised how nice it was. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. Overall, we were happy that we stayed there. It's also close to the ferry dock.
