I rented an amazing room at first floor at the begining and for 1 more week I stayed in a confortable apartment and both the solutions were excellent. The charme of Barbara's B&B is unique. You are at the top of the hill in just 10min walking from the beach and the night life, thourgh a nice local area, where everyone is smiling. The breackfast is served in a huge and beautiful main floor with an outstanding terrace overlooking the sea. The Host is alwasy present and she is a sweetheart. You wouild feel like being home. I highly recommend it, also if you like to sleep in a silent sourranding.

We absolutely loved this place. It’s been years since we’ve been treated so much like family staying somewhere. Lots of options in rooms whether you need A/C or not. Fresh fruit with breakfast every morning plus the views from the rooftop balcony at sunset are priceless.

I stayed here for one night as a solo traveller, I booked last minute but Barbara was very helpful organising taxis for me from the airport and cooked a very nice breakfast in the morning along with coffee and orange juice. She is a very nice lady and was very accommodating. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. Thank you Barbara!

Very nice host, very good location, beautiful view (sea and jungle), very clean (daily cleaning). Everything you need ❤️ The first time it was a bit difficult to find our way, but the host was very helpful and came out to pick us up. This accommodation has its own vibe.

A beautiful return stay in a beautiful room, with a beautiful view at the B-E-A-U-tiful home of Roatan Bed and Breakfast Apartments! This time my room was on the third floor and provided even grander, sweeping views of the ocean and jungle. I could sit and stare all day. The bathroom was super cool with a very large, custom-tiled bath and shower combo. Barbara, the owner, and host, is lovely and once again brought an extra dose of sunshine to this tropical paradise. She is a precious woman from Milan, Italy who has lived in Roatan for over 28 years! I highly recommend staying as long as possible in this one-of-a-kind beautiful jungle “gem!” (see what I did there? 😂)

I came to roatan to scuba dive, and I wanted quiet in the evening. Barbara and the bed and breakfast delivers. I have an upper room, very nice, clean and quiet. Internet, very good, I can make calls to the stated and have zero issues. They have air conditioning, but not a good idea if you dive. The house is high on the hill, a great breeze and nave not needed it at all. Much better breeze than down the hill in west end. You will read about the walk, I am 65 and healthy, it’s not a big deal. 7 minuted down and 10 minutes up. About a third of a mile with only 75 yards of real hill. If you are in reasonable shape-easy. It is rough the last 75 yards-the hill. Have a small flashlight for night walking. My room has great water pressure and hot water. I am in an upper room, can not speak of other rooms. It is clean. Bed a queen, comfortable with a nice mid sized tv with 40 Spanish and 20 us channels. Lots of Miami and New York channels. Barbara, the host. Very friendly and cares about the guest.

Barbara was so friendly and warm and welcoming, we felt right at home! We were charmed by the rustic ambience, and felt like we were in a treehouse. The quiet neighborhood and beautiful landscapes helped us to relax and recoup after a long travel day, and the AC unit in our room was very much appreciated! Very clean and comfortable beds. We truly relaxed and felt refreshed, and we would stay there again!

We were guests for six days in one of the lovely apartments. Never before felt so relaxed and at home on holiday. Barbara is the nicest, funniest. sweetest and most helpful hostess we ever had. The breakfast was made with so much love and served in her tasteful kitchen or terrace. We also really liked the little walk to the beach. It’s so nice to stay in the more quiet part of West End and it takes a little walk to the beach. Thank you Barbara, we enjoyed our stay and I hope to be back soon! Miss it and specially you already ❤️

With friends, we visited Barbara at her Bed & Breakfast on Roatan's West End. Our driver knew the general location of her beautiful wooden home and got us right to the door. The beds and bedding were great and breakfast was punctual and delicious. Her coffee was superb. Her 3/4 story home is an architectural masterpiece, made of wood from the North Coast of Honduras. She designed the building herself and supervised the construction. The dining level has an expansive porch with great jungle views. She is a delightful host with English/Spanish/Italian fluency. She is just 10 minutes walk from main business district of West End and the beach.
