A localização é ótima. O carro fica no estacionamento deles é gratuito. Vale a pena ficar lá e visitar os museus e monumentos em Washington D.C.
We stayed here for a hockey tournament and the hotel worked out very well for us. It was only about 10 minutes to the rink. There were lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The hotel also provided us a conference room for the hockey families to congregate as opposed to taking over their lobby. The hotel itself was pretty decent. The common areas were nice. The gym was tiny but had everything needed. The pool and hot tub looked nice, too. Our room was clean which is my number one priority at any hotel. You could tell there had been some updates to the room, which did not extend to the bathroom…or some of the furnishings…but, again, as long as it is clean, beds are comfortable, and it is quiet enough to sleep, then it is acceptable. The employees were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was pretty good, as well. I particularly liked that they offered a veggie eggwhite omelette in addition to scrambled eggs, pancakes, and biscuits and gravy bc I watch what I eat:) I would not vacation here or anything, but I’d certainly stay here again next time we are in town for hockey or if it was a business trip or something:)
Great service really nice front office staff. Special shout out to Kenyatta who managed to take care of the numerous people crowding in the lobby because of the upcoming ice storm. She is cheerful, friendly and unfazed. A real professional. What a pleasure to come to such a clean and pleasant environment after a long day at work and facing a snow storm, the second one to hit this area. God bless you guys.
We stayed at the Spark in Germantown for a family event. It was a disappointing experience. ROOMS - there's an infestation of ants in several rooms, one family member had to check out, the ants had taken over the counters. Hotel said they were sold out, so she went to the Sheraton. Another family member changed rooms after she found bugs under the bed sheet. a third family member had a smelly wall air conditioner unit-they changed the filter, but it didn't help. No ice, no microwave, no cups in bathroom, no alarm clock-bare minimums. The rooms have a stale odor. BREAKFAST - I would suggest going to the area restaurants, the bagel breakfast offered didn't taste fresh. FITNESS CENTER - water was dripping from the ceiling, as such tile had fallen to the floor. Called the front desk to let them know..., they sent someone who did a very poor job in attempting to clean it up, dripping water wasn't addressed. ROOM RATE - was very attractive for the first night, but the rate was increased for the second and third nights. I have never experience a hotel changing the room rate after the rate has been confirmed. Felt like bait and switch, the room rate shouldn't change after the reservation is confirmed. At check out the manager wasn't around, I called back and got a supervisor who told me that's the way they price rooms, rate is subject to change based upon occupancy. Even after they have confirmed the reservation. STAFF - all seemed pleasant, but young and inexperienced. At checkout the young man was yelling from behind the wall that he was coming..., took him almost 5 minutes to come check us out. RECOMMENDATION - I would not stay here again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many hotel choices in the area, it was a poor hotel experience.
We booked the 3.5 star Red Roof Inn after browsing through photos that made it seem updated and nice only to pull into a motel complex that was littered with cigarette butts and smelled of urine (so much for the “no smoking” sign. The room itself reeked of cigarette smoke as if someone had just chainsmoked in the room right before we got there. The pillows and comforter stank of smoke as well. Windows didn’t open, so we tried to air the place out as best we could. Photos are deceptive - looked nothing like the room we got. This is a 2 star hotel at best that needs ventilation and a good scrub.
JJunesdaughterWe chose the Hilton because of its location at DuPont Circle and proximity to the metro. It was perfect. Very clean and excellent service. We had a corner room with large windows and a nice view. We weren’t able to check in early and still have our chosen room but we left our luggage with the bell captain, parked and went off to explore on foot for awhile, taking the advice from a helpful front desk clerk for a nice place for lunch close by. Everything was close by. It worked out perfectly. The price of the hotel was excellent too which offset the cost of parking ($56/day) in the garage below where the car stayed for the whole trip. It was very easy to park and get back inside. The restaurants looked lovely but we didn’t eat there. There were just too many local choices and we were out walking most of the day. The bell captain was helpful in getting us a cab one cold evening when my Uber app was be working well. He went outside in the cold until he was able to hail one for us (comparable in price to the Uber we would’ve taken) Lovely stay. Highly recommend.
ผผู้เข้าพักfirst off, i booked a king room but was given 2 queen beds instead, they said you don’t always get that when you book through a 3rd party because they do not know what rooms are actually available, second, i requested that my room be cleaned everyday that i stayed, but was not, i had to go downstairs to ask for new towels 2 nights in a row, on the 3rd night i finally asked the front desk and they showed me a small sign that said they do not clean until your 4th day of stay, they can do a quick refresh if you ask before 9pm the night before, lastly, i was charged $41.73 on top of what i paid to Trip.com, i called to ask about it a few days after my trip when i saw it on my credit card, they said it was an amenities charge for each of the days i stayed, whaat? the only amenity i used was the elevator, never have i ever been charged for anything other than the price of the hotel, needless to say i will not be staying here again and will not recommend it to anyone
