Coda on Half, a Placemakr Experience

Great location - very clean. My only complaint is that our place had no security lock - just the regular lock/deadbolt, so that all the staff with keys had access to our room while we were sleeping. Felt unsafe. Check in can be tricky as you’re standing outside waiting for someone to let you in if the front desk isn’t paying attention. Still a great value in a great area and very clean

The staff were incredibly helpful—letting me stay inside the property / lobby during inclement weather after my checkout so that I would stay safe while waiting for a delayed train and helping me with my bags. The property was also immaculate and rooms were spacious.

The bed was broken and I could hear people as they walked by (second floor). But I really liked the full kitchen

Coda on Half was located in an area with easy (walking) access to great restaurants and metro stations. We appreciated the locked doors with key card or app access as well as 24-hour attendant on duty. The unit was clean and staff we interacted with were all very polite. Would stay again without hesitation.

Very modern building, well-designed layout, and especially enjoyed the penthouse amenities as well as the fitness center!

good location and clean modern place but quality of the mattress was terrible. My husband and I had a restless night because the bed was so uncomfortable . It would be difficult if we were to spend several nights there. Not recommended for long stay

This property seems ill prepared to receive guests. There is no clear area for arriving guests to park and unload their luggage. There is not easy access to the reception desk unless a receptionist is sitting there and notices you trying to get in. The parking arrangement allows you to park but when you come back home, you have to call for someone to come out and open the door for you. Very inconvenient and unsafe. I had drop my wife off for her volunteer work and checked into the hotel room by myself. The room was generally clean, but the toilet paper had been dropped into some liquid that was brown that then dried, but the roll was left there for us, the next guest. in addition, when we came back to our room after dinner, another guests luggage was in our room and their toothbrush and toiletries were set up next to ours. It was very unnerving, causing us to call our trip short, having not even spent one night. The staff, although sweet, we’re disorganized, and seem to be spread thin in their roles. Do not expect a smooth flow of hospitality from your stay.

the apartment rooms are HUGE and have very nice decor. but it is indeed more so an apartment renting out as a hotel. Meaning there is no morning breakfast, daily housekeeping or towel replenishment (I stayed for 3 days). But the surrounding area and restaurants are great and the streets are very clean.

We stayed in unit 202, right over entry door, it was very noisy at night, no Kleenex in room, ran out of toilet paper, no extra roll in unit, shower doors wouldn't shut improperly installed, shower floor not installed correctly tiles were breaking loose, worst of all NO LIVE TV - if you stay at this facility you can only get satellite TV - streaming services. The property looked very nice, clean, but the room needs night stands on each end of the bed - I had to put pills & water on the floor. One great thing about this facility is the staff is EXCELLENT. I cannot say enough about Yannick and the staff. If ever we had a question or concern they were as helpful as they could be considering the problem. I felt the room was too expensive for all of the issues we had. I have no idea what other rooms were like I am giving you my experience with our room. Thank you for listening.
