We stayed one night and came back at the restaurant. We had tea and a couple of drinks at Messmer Restaurant. To our surprise, even before completing the hour, the Manager/Owner came up to us and asked us to leave without any reason. Additionally, he was being nosey about our activities and even peaked at our laptop. Very rude and very unprofessional.

Nice location in Bregenz, close to cable car, ＜1km walking distance to train station, easy walk to the lake. We liked our room.

Hotel Messmer is a charming hotel with welcoming and helpful staff. We particularly liked the breakfast which offered variety you hardly experience in a hotel: great choice of bread spreads, muesli and vegetables. Parts of the hotel have been recently renovated giving it a totally new vibe. We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite which was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated that our room had AC as it was particularly hot during our stay in Bregenz. We would definitely be back.

From a friendly and efficient front desk to an excellent breakfast our stay in Messmer was perfect. Room was not very large but well equipped and comfortable. WiFi very good and the small sauna area is very nice. On top of this the hotel is perfectly located in town

The location is the best in Bregenz. The front desk lady was very friendly, professional, warmly welcoming us. The room is big and superb. Very clean everything. The bed is very comportable The bathroom is huge. The breakfast is rich. They have a full buffer breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.
