Sun Siyam Vilu Reef

Currently at sun siyam Vilu reef in room 150. Will wrote a full review when home but wanted to say how outstanding our cleaner has been for the past week. Sahib has gone above and beyond to make our stay special, our room is constantly immaculate and his attention to detail is nothing short of incredible! An outstanding member of staff!

At Sun Siyam Vilu Reef we had a three person family vacation with our 4 year old daughter. For us it was important to have a reef to be able to snorkeling, also that the island was small and quiet. The hotel met all these requirements. To each villa on arrival is attached to a personal manager. We had a Russian speaking manager Gulnaz. She was always on the phone, answered quickly, we asked her for any questions - from booking a massage to the need to find any medication. We lived in a regular villa without a pool and jacuzzi, we definitely can recommend villa 142 to stay with a small child: quiet, peaceful villa away from the bar and activities. Comfortable and shallow entrance to the water, fencing with stones made the water safe and warm, and you can swim and snorkel. The other villas on our side of the island (148 and beyond) had a sharp drop off into deep water. We heard complaints from other tourists about ants and cockroaches - there was nothing like that in our villa. Many thanks to our responsible for the cleaning service named Babul - in addition to the fact that he is very friendly (really glowing with a smile and friendliness), he did his job perfectly: the villa was always exceptionally clean, cleaning was twice a day. I think the absence of any insects in our villa is his merit. There are three restaurants on the territory - one with buffet and two by appointment. We went to the regular one all the time - we were more than satisfied with the food there. We were glad to meet the chef Chaminda - he was nice and friendly, cooked specially for us fish caught on fishing (in a sauce of olives) and it was great, you can immediately see a professional chef. Thanks also to the waiters - Ayman, Shayan and Dilshad. They were very helpful, pleasant in communication, always tried to help - put off for the child ice cream when the restaurant was already closed, and we did not have time for dessert, responsive to requests. The kids club was under renovation at the time of our visit, but from the outside seemed cool: large, with a playground, with its own small pool. The package included 1 free excursion: either to a neighboring residential island or a trip to the dolphins. True, we never saw the dolphins because of the weather, there was a strong wave. The hotel has a good spa - in rainy weather it is very pleasant to go for a massage, they do it well. From the minuses I can note that the first night on arrival we were settled in a villa directly opposite the bar (villa 106), in which it was impossible to sleep because of the noise. We asked if it was always that noisy and the manager said that there are occasional parties and events there, sometimes until 12am. The next day we were moved, but how they could guess to put a family with a small child in the noisiest villa is just a secret. And also incomprehensible policy of the general director: if he has a personal orange passenger buggy tourists should move on foot on arrival and on departure. We

My wife and I visited the Maldives for the first time to celebrate our honeymoon, and decided to stay at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef. Upon our return, we both agreed that it was the best holiday we've ever had. The views from our beach villa were perfect, and mere footsteps from the ocean. The pictures we took during our stay simply do not do the beauty of the island justice. The sunbeds and swing right outside our villa were a lovely touch, and the pool area was never crowded. We had fun kayaking, paddleboarding, and we were also lucky enough to see lots of dolphin's on the sunset dolphin cruise. We were able to go snorkelling on the house reef which was right outside our villa - the experience was breathtaking with a vast array of marine life. The three restaurants were equally amazing and provided different experiences with delicious food. We would highly recommend the lobster BBQ with live music right on the beach front. We would like to thank all the staff at the resort but we feel we have to give a special thank you to Shakil for his exceptional service in the Aqua restaurant, who always served us with a smile. He decorated our honeymoon and leaving table beautifully. Also to Kamal, a truly phenomenal room attendant. Our room was always immaculate, and such a genuinely kind person. Our honeymoon and leaving bed decorations were wonderful. Lastly to Veema, a great island host. Overall, an unforgettable experience in a truly fantastic place and resort.

Le personnel Vijay, shakil , Manita , Dilshad et tant d’autres sont exceptionnels avec une grande écoute de vos désires et besoins au quotidien , d’une gentillesse rare , toujours prêt à vous satisfaire , souriant et d’une générosité hors pair… merci pour tout vous êtes extraordinaire ne changez rien , restez comme vous êtes 🙏🙏🙏. Et aussi un mot pour Babul qui à été notre fée du logis d’une efficacité et d’une bienveillance au quotidien merci pour tout … un mot pour Tahthi notre hôte… merci pour ta bienveillance et merci de nous avoir fait découvrir la pêche traditionnelle maldivienne un vrai régal nous avons adoré cette expérience qui restera gravé à jamais 🙏🙏🙏🙏parlons enfin, du site …paradisiaque, fabuleux, d’une propreté, rare, une eau cristalline amateur de Snorkling un vrai régal pour les yeux… foncez-y vous allez halluciner…et encore merci pour tout . Have had a fantastic time here. The staff are excellent, special thanks to Vijay, Thahti and so many more. We have met some great people here and made more memories especially for celebrating husbands 60th.

Visited for 10 days, first time visiting and it was everything we hoped it would be. We were met on the jetty by our Host Shazu who was very good and on hand to help when needed without being too intrusive, we’d booked a Deluxe Beach Villa and felt we were in the perfect spot…footsteps from the Ocean and on the quieter side of the island, we ate in Aqua - thanks to Vijay, Shakil, Shayan and Dilshed (hope I’ve spelt these right) who were prompt to assist after the first day knew what drinks we’d like etc and just thoroughly welcoming and a great asset to the hotel, we also ate several times at Spice and Well Done and enjoyed choosing from the menu and again the service was outstanding, every member of staff is happy and very quick to greet you that you leave feeling very valued…our villa attendant Shodac was great he cleaned the villa twice a day and left us decorations to celebrate birthday and anniversary…Well Done all at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef

非常不錯的小島，白色沙灘，還有小拖尾，兩晚水屋看日落，兩晚沙屋離浮潛點很近，人生第一次浮潛，看到好多魚類，島上植被茂盛，中文管家Dina耐心細緻，幫我們預約午餐晚餐，解決所有問題，島上的海豚巡航、槳板、划艇都是第一次體驗，都留下美妙回憶，希望大寶貝的所有煩惱都能留在那裡，衹帶走開心快樂！

來島上住了四晚五天，有Lina的熱情服務，使我們的行程很滿意，都為我們一一解答。因為我們不懂英文，有她管家服務，我們要方便很多，還想每年都來馬代度個假，很方便。在此，非常感謝Lina，讓我們的這次度假很滿意，謝謝

我們在這渡假村度過5天4夜，每天都覺得很舒服，酒店設施很完善，餐飲出品乾淨衛生，而家很適合我跟妻子的胃口。還可以在水上中心借浮潛用具跟救生衣，海面很清澈漂亮，無論是游泳浮潛都是一個很棒的體驗。島上很多地方拍照都漂亮。The Spice跟Well done餐廳的出品水準一流，在鸚鵡螺酒吧看日落很舒服。感謝渡假村為我們預備的蜜月晚餐！！感謝Dina、Shayanth跟HABIB 的細心跟熱情照顧，讓我跟妻子有一個很棒的蜜月旅行！！
