Hotel E Central Villa Clara

We were with a group of 24 turist from Austria for one night there in February 2024. At arriving looked quite impressive, nice but that was all. Lady at the lobby was incompetent, waiters mostly young , unmotivated, lazy and unfriendly. We sat 6 at a table and they could offer one bottle of red wine ( they had only one in the whole bar!). As we left a bit earlier as the other members from the table we payed all that was consumed ab 3000 Pesos , when the others left they were charged thr same amount! So we payed twice for the wine( no memey back)! There was only cold water for shower in the morning and evening as well. No internet working. In the morning we were woken up by the incredible noise made by the personnel cleaning and working around. Impossible to sleep after 06;00 in the morning, not only for us but the other members of the group as well. Never again ! Awful and disappointing!

A centrally located hotel, with a large welcoming foyer and friendly reception staff. There was a power cut on arrival, so our room wasn't ready and there was no internet until late evening, which was a bit frustrating, but not exactly the fault of the hotel. There seemed to be a problem with the wine, because on ordering a glass, I was told "no", but it turned out it was on another floor and someone had to go and get it. It all turned into a bit of a performance to be honest. The room itself was large and clean, although the shower wasn't particularly good. The air conditioning, once the electricity was back on, was very good. What was very strange were the towels, which seemed old, thin and very, very small. Not suitable at all. This is Cuba though, so you have to take all these quirks in your stride. There were no windows to the outside, just opening out to the inner atrium, which I wasn't quite so keen on. My main gripe was the noise. This hotel just consists of the ground, first and second floors. I was on the second floor, right by the roof top bar. The noise that came from there until around 2 in the morning was unbelievable, and it was impossible to get any sleep. Also, there's no lift in this place, although the staff (when you can find someone to help) will take your luggage up and down the stairs for you. I have to give a special shout out to the receptionist (I'm afraid I don't know her name) because my companion was very challenging and extremely rude to her, and the restaurant staff, unnecessarily. I did apologise, and she shouldn't have had to put up with the way he talked to her. To be honest, I didn't really like Santa Clara, so I'm unlikely to return. But if this hotel managed to iron out the issues that it has, it could be a very good place to stay.

Came in on the fly after asking the the taxi driver to drop me off at Parque Vidal from the bus station. I was greeted warmly and was offered a suite at a very choice rate. I soon jumped at the chance and found myself in a spacious and well done up - high ceiling room. The hotel is tops in town and as central as can be. A bar and a kitchen are on site. A pleasure to sit on the front terrace looking towards the central park. Great staff but I did not want to buy cigars offered at the bar. No regrets!

El hotel tiene un encanto especial, las habitaciones son muy cómodas, tienen ventilador y aire acondicionado, muy limpio, y las camas son muy cómodas. Además de la excelente ubicación que tiene justo en la plaza central donde puedes ver todas las calles principales.

Es un hermoso hotel, las habitaciones muy limpias y extremadamente comodas! El personal es muy atento y amable! Esta en el centro de la ciudad cerca de todas la atracciones turísticas. El hotel y todas sus instalaciones son toda una maravillosa experiencia!

Me encantó la arquitectura del hotel y la gente y su servicio es excepcional. Lo recomiendo al 100%. Resaltó el servicio de Diego. Muy atento !

Mala opción. El vestíbulo es bonito, sí, pero a partir de ahí, todo va a peor. Las habitaciones no tienen ventanas a la calle y las únicas ventanas dan al vestíbulo. De hecho, al entrar en la habitación, me entró un tufo a cerrado que me dio mucho asco. Y claro, para mí, ya con esa premisa, otras cosas como el hecho de que las camas sean cómodas pasa a segundo plano. Por la noche, me encontré en el baño con una cucaracha del tamaño de mi mano. Para colmo, ni siquiera tenían internet (o estaría estropeado, no sé). Dicho esto, no todo es malo. El restaurante está bien y, lo mejor del hotel, con diferencia, son los empleados. Han estado pendientes de que todo estuviese lo mejor posible y nos han tratado muy bien. Uno de ellos me ofreció la conexión a internet de su móvil personal para que pudiese enviar y responder a los mensajes a falta de internet en el hotel, lo cual aprecié mucho. Realmente correctos y profesionales.

La atención muy profesional ,es un lugar maravilloso para compartir con nuestros seres queridos , allí se respira mucha paz y tranquilidad , en su tienda puedes obtener los mejores productos para la belleza y demás , es mi lugar preferido y siempre lo visitaré por su calidad y respeto con los clientes , me siento complacida con todas las atenciones ,

El servicio en general fue excelente y los trabajadores siempre atentos; Hander, el bartender, hace unos cócteles exquisitos de acuerdo con la opinión de mis clientes. Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y limpias. Fue una gran experiencia para el grupo. Gracias.
