Courteous staff, clean room and convenient store across the street. The only nearby restaurant closes at 3:00 pm so evening dining is not an available option. Plenty of dining options up in Carlsbad.

Like everything about this hotel nice quiet place the crew here is unbelievable I thought it was a supervisor comes to find out it's the owner he went above and beyond I stood at this place about 10 years ago and I really quite didn't remember it and that he actually remembered me will stay here from now on beats any place in town here will stay here from now on

They are friendly, the room was beautiful and clean, price is fantastic. Our 2nd time there as we travel across country and we'll stay again!

Really nice for a budget hotel. Comfortable bed and clean room. The freezer in the mini-fridge needs to be defrosted but everything else was top notch. I highly recommend this hotel if you have to stay in Van Horn, Texas

The room smelled like Fabuloso cleaner and that was gross. The glass in the window in my room was broken.

For the price, this motel was good. It’s old but they are trying. Big room, could use a bigger tv. Bed was good.

Overall a good place. Easy access. Clean, yet basic room. Mostly quiet except once a train passed by behind the motel. Might not have noticed if it hadn’t blown its horn.
