Mavalli Beach Heritage Home

Mavalli Home is one of the best Homestays in Murudeshwar. It is near the temple and the beach. Hosts are lovely and make you feel the place like your own home. Food is also good. They have their own cook who cooks a delicious food and also, they know some good places around if you want to go explore new food places. It is a must visit place.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our trip with family and friends. The hosts quickly became an extended family making it literally home stay as if it’s your own. We opted for home made food and it turned out to be an excellent choice. This is a perfect place for anyone on a tour be it for recreation or for temple visit. It’s bang opposite the beach and what else can you ask for.

Such a beautiful home with the warmest hosts that we could have hoped for! We reached the Mavalli beach Heritage Home around midnight due to car troubles. Our hosts were super considerate. They waited for us and welcomed us so warmly. We felt like we had arrived home. The home is aethetically designed, all meals are carefully and thoughtfull prepared. The host is very helpful, warm and considerate. If you are planning a visit to Murudeshwar, this is the best place to stay. Highly recommended!

We stayed here in 2018 on the recommendation of our dive company. This time we decided to come for six days over the New Year, again we were not disappointed. Obviously Murdeshwar was heaving with devotees and local visitors. This residence was a peaceful haven about twenty minutes walk from the centre of town. The hosts are delightful, caring people, who can’t do enough to make your stay with them memorable. We were diving every day so having the choice home cooking was a no brainer and the food is superb. Genuine Indian food. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the bathroom shower has endless hot water. All the plugs and sockets work as does the Wi-fi. If you wish to travel anywhere locally a rickshaw can be contacted by the hosts. Thank you for a lovely New Year which will never be forgotten.

The only place in Murudeshwar you should prefer to stay if you are staying with family.The place stays true to it's name which is Heritage. The Heritage Home is aesthetic and filled with antique collections which is maintained by Kaippilly and family who are wonderful hosts.They took care of all our needs and we had good time chatting with Uncle and Aunty.Santosh the house help is always available to help with any assistance we need.We stayed in a beach view room which has private balcony and is spacious. We can place order for lunch,snacks or dinner within mentioned time which is tasty and best you can get. The best part is Beach which is just 5 minutes away from house which is less crowded.The Murudeshwara temple is also very close to the property. Will definitely go back again.

We stayed for a night at Mavalli beach Heritage home at Murudeshwar on 13th August. Due to long weekend, most of yhe places were fully booked. So we contacted them directly and booked the ovean view suite. A wonderful experience it was. The suite is spacious with a spacious balcony from where one can view the sea. It has an nice attic. The house is full of antiques and one can feel the time bygone while living here. Hosts are very friendly, specially madam. She was so helpful and arranged auto for us for temple and beach visit. Next day we planned to skip breakfast and start early. But she , like our elders in house, just not let us go without having the fantastic luchi ( puri) and chholar daal ( chana daal) , the Bengali delicacy she prepared. It's a charming stay indeed.

Great hosts. The best home stay you can find near temple. Though road to home is challenging its quite good place. Hosts are great to interact. Definitely recommended for couples and families. Last thing not least , it's home made food!!!

We had a very comfortable stay Both uncle aunty and their sons were very hospitable and made us feel at home Really grateful to them for all the help they did to us in guiding during our stay Food ,rooms and all services is very much commendable The view from balcony is mesmerizing Very near to the beach and the Murudeshwar temple Food was also good

The Kaipilly family has taken their Homestay to a different level by creating a smooth blend of warmth of home with comfort of a fine hotel! Their special efforts in creating a welcoming ambience is noticeable as soon as you step in... and then it lingers with you pleasantly. We had booked King and Queen suits for 4 nights. Rooms are equipped with everything required for a comfortable stay. They are neat and clean. The house is surrounded by nice trees and lot of birds. They leave behind the fruits like papaya on the trees for birds and we enjoyed watching them feasting on them! Food requires special mention as we had special food requirements. Mrs. Rajashri went out of the way to procure certain items from Goa, though I had volunteered to carry *****! Breakfast and meals were superb. All the meals were delicious with local flavors. Mr. Devdas was a great company. Their son Kedar was always around for any help required. All in all, we loved our stay at such a lovely place with lovely family and will love to stay with them again!
