Hotel Tierra del Fuego

We visited from the US. This hotel is nothing special, but one thing makes it worth while: LOCATION. We walked everywhere! No need to rent a car, we only took a taxi to and from the airport. To book an excursion just walk to Best Tours Patagonia and they will hook you up! Yes, the rooms are hot, we opened the window. Yes, the breakfast is a carb fest, but they do serve what we would consider lunch meat and cheese, boiled eggs, and ham & cheese croissants. The room was spacious. I would recommend staying here.

We found a Hotel Tierra Del Fuego I’m very pleasant centrally located hotel in Ushuaia. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well equipped. We felt comfortable and safe in this hotel. Front desk was very helpful for any request we had. They even changed out our pillows to softer ones which are more comfortable for us. This hotel appears to be a transit point for people traveling to Antarctica. Breakfast was the usual Continental type. We stayed in room 501 and had a great view of the harbor. The two working elevators make it easy to move bags. If we were to travel back to Ushuaia, we’d certainly stay here again! Thanks to the staff for a very pleasant stay!

We stayed here over New Year's this year. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with most restaurants and attractions within walking distance (~5 mins). There is an incredible restaurant across the street where we spent New Years Eve. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and spoke decent English (enough so we didn't have to fumble through our "Spanglish"). The breakfast hours are long so you can enjoy it before an early morning excursion or after a later sleep-in. The main complaint we had was the lack of air conditioning in the room. The rooms got quite stuffy throughout the day and sleeping with the window opening was both loud from street traffic (all night) and made us a bit uncomfortable due to the lack of screen/the roof right under our window. Despite Ushuaia being a safe town, anyone could have walked along the roof from a room next to us into our room.

Booked this place at the last minute due to a flight cancelation and this was the only hotel with very over priced room available. We didn't have much choice since it was late and we needed to be in a place where it would be easy to get a taxi to the airport in the morning. It's centrally located and the room's clean - we had a triple room ($350) with two bedrooms as that's the only room type available. Nice lobby with comfortable seating extending into the breakfast room. Triple room just means two bedrooms, not a suite so not big and no sitting area. Bed is comfortable - bedding a bit lacking, no duvet just old fashioned fuzzy blankets. Old fashioned few outlets for charging devices. Bathroom had a bidet but no counter space. We had a harbor view which was nice. The wifi is bad, very slow, even late at night when it should be at its strongest without many users. We left early so didn't have time to check out the full breakfast - just picked up some very cold pastries and not too fresh whole fruits. Overall ok hotel but not worth the high price (especially if you pay by credit card and get charged the official pesos exchange rate).

Banheiros com luz fraca e box de cortinas , nem sabia q ainda existia ! Localização ótima ! Atendimento bom ! Café da manhã fraco , sem frutas , sem ovos mexidos e sem pão francês ! Não voltaria ! Academia com pessimo funcionamento ! Sem manutenção!

Hotel 4 stelle molto ben posizionato, pochi minuti a piedi dal centro e per imbarchi vari. Camera molto spaziosa e ben rifornita. Pulizia buona, colazione ricca e personale reception molto cordiale e preparato. Zona silenziosa e a pochi passi da ristoranti gradevoli e con costi ragionavoli (vedi Cantina di Freddy per centolla). Visto il periodo di alta stagione costo adeguato ma compatibile con quanto offerto.

El hotel aunque se le nota y que tiene unos cuantos años está bien, no dispone de restaurante pero donde está situado hay muchos en sus alrededores, desayuno correcto lo peor es que no limpian las mesas y dependiendo de la hora puedes tener problemas para encontrar sitio limpio, las habitaciones son espaciosas baños limpios. Pero lo mejor el personal

Es un hotel sencillo y bonito, con todo lo necesario para llegar a descansar por las tardes y tomar un rico desayuno. Todo su personal es muy amable y atento. La ubicación es muy buena, en el centro cerca a todo, pero sin bulla. Gracias por hacer nuestra estadía tan placentera.

Tuvimos junto a mi pareja la oportunidad de permanecer una semana alojados en el Hotel Tierra del Fuego, una hermosa experiencia tanto por sus instalaciones y ubicación como por el servicio brindado en todo momento. Realmente lo recomiendo muchísimo!!!!
