Indra Niwas

This hotel looks great and recently renovated. We enjoyed out stay OK but there is room for improvement. The location is remote so you need a car/driver/tour. Rooms clean, bright but no outlook from our rooms. I believe other rooms have good views so that was disappointing to find out. Also rooms open onto an open stairwell and because it is all marble tiles the noise is something else especially with kids. Inside the room it was not as noticable. The only way we could get hot water to shower was to ask reception to turn it on and then wait 30 minutes for it to heat up. The rooftop has great views of one of the lakes of Udaipur. This is where the pool and breakfast room/restaurant are located. The pool was small which is ok but it was so unclean that we did not use it which was disappointing given the temperature this time of year is around 40C. Breakfast was very basic - both Indian and European options very limited. We had dinner here one night and is was just awful. We tired the food but ate a small amount and left. Luckily we had a few snacks in our room. It didn't help that we only speak English but restaurant staff don't. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a home away from home. Roof top restaurant with pool is amazing. My room is not only lake facing but also sun facing. Early morning we wake up in front of sun. Excellent home made food with great service by room boys. Quick check in. Overall great. Palani Chennai

Fine stay in quiet surrounding, about 5km from city Palace. Rooms and rooftop restaurant clean and plenty of space and good food Unfortunately other guests left doors open and was noisy until midnight - on the other hand renovating startet at 5:30. Anyhow, if you want to spend some time in Udaipur it is the right place

at indra niwas udaipur Our stay was really good and we enjoyed the awsome facilty they have. Rooms are really big and have awsome view from balcony. Hotel environment is really quite for a good family stay. Our kids enjoyed roof top swimming pool as well. Food is also really good and have great breakfast spread everyday.

The rooms were spacious. Service was very good. The location was excellent. indra niwas udaipur was a heritage property. They gave a vintage jeep ride for one hours. Of course we have to pay for that but it's worth it . Inside hotel there was a shop about handmade wooden article n a lot of things. must visit indra niwas udaipur

I had an absolutely delightful stay at indra Niwas Hotel in Udaipur. The hospitality experience was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. all staff They were always ready to assist with any request, whether it was arranging transportation, offering recommendations for local attractions, or ensuring my room was immaculate. The attention to detail in every aspect of my stay was remarkable. The room was beautifully appointed and impeccably clean, with stunning views of Udaipur's picturesque surroundings. The dining experience was equally memorable, with delicious local cuisine and impeccable service.

The bright and cheerful exterior led to the welcoming and very helpful staff and then to a large, clean and comfortable air conditioned room with a small balcony. To my delight, two floors above my first floor room was a small rooftop swimming pool with a small restaurant also on the rooftop. The food was better than I had at the other small local hotels where I stayed in Rajasthan. I would have given it 5 stars had it not followed what seems to be the custom in these local hotels of not carrying out any routine room maintenance such as replacing used toiletries, teabags, cups etc. Definitely a good place to stay in Udaipur though some way out of town.

Staff was great and very cooperative. Breakfast was also good. Its 4km from old city but the view is awesome and worth staying.

In conclusion, my experience in this hotel room was nothing short of exceptional. It provided the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. I left with a sense of rejuvenation and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the city.
